Just because it is in a nice image (without reference and without anything) doesn't mean it is true..
Any reputable and referenced article you can find will tell you that most of the slaves came from South East Nigeria and Cameroon..
Mostly Igbo..
Even all the African Americans that do the DNA test to show where their ancestors came from mostly show as Cameroonians..
That is because before the Nigerian imaginary borders were created, Igbos and the people from the South Eastern side of the Niger/Benue river had more contact with the Cameroonians than with the Edo and Benin and Yoruba (just as the Yourbas and Edo had more contact with "Benin republic" hence the name, just as the Adamawa Fulani had more contact with the rest of the Fulani in North Cameroon, Chad and Niger, just as the Kanuri and Hausa had more contact with the Dogon people from Mali plus the Fulani plus the Beduins and Berbers in North Africa who turned them into muslims)..
Believe it or not some Igbos actually have direct Bantu and Zulu ancestry from central and southern Africa (as well as other ancestries)..
The people in the West side of the Niger were strangers or enemies to the Igbos at the time..
In fact many of the slaves were sold by the Edo people in the Benin kingdom..
So I don't think the people in Eastern side and Western side of the Niger river were best friends at the time..

So, the number of slaves from South East Nigeria/ Cameroon and the number from Central Western was probably equal..
Or more from South East Nigeria/Cameroon..
Many also from Benin Republic and many also from all other coastal African regions..
Some also from North East Nigeria..

the other Yoruba guy with us admitted that his people are fine but Igbos just get this higher rate of fine girls per capita. were not talking of beauty queens we mean ordinary village pple with no make up

I've noticed this as well. I get mistaken a lot as a black american here in the US until they hear my accent.
