@ iomoge2, plz do not be depressed it won't help matters I fell victim to it last month. Jayden was having issues with latching on properly so my once flowing milk started reducing, he almost ate my nipple finish and I was already thinking av failed as regards breastfeeding , formula became an option.
However I refused to give up I went online to watch videos and read everything readable about breastfeeding and I started implementing them. Trust me when I tell you that I derived pleasure in breastfeeding now, no more pain and there's adequate supply of breastmilk now, I don't even take anything to increase the supply again it comes on it's own.
One more thing I also tried palmwine once and it actually worked for me, it got to a point I started blaming myself for taking it coz d breastmilk was just flowing seamlessly.
My advice is you take it one day at a time, before you know it she will become a professional at it.

Have u tried fenugreek? I've heard about the palm wine therapy too. Heard it works. Sowee dear. but I'm optimistic the BM will flow....just relax. Never be frustrated o.

All will be well.... I'm sure u will be adviced to take palm wine. But please if u must take it, wait after 2-3hrs before breastfeeding due to the alcohol content in palm wine... But honestly it works but medically it's not advisable.

My dear sister pleeeeease I beg u in the name of God, opt for the tying of cervix (cerclage) bedrest doesn't help to prevent miscarriage due to cervical incompetence, (except it's stress induced cervical shortening then bedrest may help)
it is usually advised in addition to the cerclage.
If only I had listened and had it done in my 2nd pregnancy, I would have my son with me now, but I chose to have bedrest instead) and lost him @18 weeks.
At 19 weeks your cervical length should be more than 4cm not 3cm sef.
I am having it done @13 weeks this time around.
I take baba God beg u o, listen to your doctor.
The Good lord will see you through.

I did fenugreek and its what made it even start.
Right now volume is my ish....

Just drink it like you take juice but don't let it to be too much ,I only took it once and I got the desired result.

How did you take the fenugreek? Best method for me is swallowing one table spoon of the seeds 3-4times a day consistently for 3days. ...there should be an improvement. The tea method didn't work for me. Keep pumping. .. every 4hours if possible

@iomoge2 I understand what u're going tru. pls try d suggestions mamas hv given. i'm sure u'll find something that will work for u. in d meantime pls augment with formula. it doesn't mean u've failed as a mother.
PS: hope u've been cleaning ur tips with cotton wool n olive oil too

i had my dating scan and my EDD was may 30 2017. 11weeks. but based on my LMP i calculated 9 weeks 6 dayz.which is correct?

@ capt iomoge2, pls try supplement with Nan1. What helped me was my dh massaged the areola very well to release drops into a cup, it helped to open the ducts and I also massaged the whole bre.ast with hot water (not scalding hot). My flow is better now.

@iomoge, if you can get oxytocin nasal spray.. it helps with milk letdown... just calm down it is going to be well

Babe one mama on the other thread suggested locust beans - a spoon twice daily. Tried it and was looking for breast pads thereafter

You just chew on it and rinse with mouthwash afterwards

hey everyone. I'm 17weeks gone, and I must confess its not been easy but who am I to complain?
Anyway the problem I have now is that I have this terrible cough that keeps me awake all night. Haven't slept properly for three days now. Please who has an idea of what I can take to ease the coughing? thanks.
