Ngozi123:Nsogbu adighi. I'm just reasoning towards a successful approach towars actualizing Biafra. |

Funnicator:Scotland is a part of a country that respects its citizens' rights to free speech and self-determination. Have you ever heard of the British Government ordering the arrest of peaceful protesters or even going to the extent to murder scores of them? I haven't, at least not in recent history. Nigeria is a very corrupt country, you cannot compare it to actual democratic states. |

Ngozi123:Believe me, it'd be very difficult to obtain a UN supervised referendum. The easiest IGBOS can get is a fiscal federalism which in it's own sense, is almost same as each component being a country of it's own. It's easier to get this because the SS, SW and some NC states are pro-Federalism. |

Funnicator:I understand. IPOB isn't the only way in which Igbos are striving for independence but they are the most noticeable right now. They're getting people to address the situation at hand right now, which is more than anyone has done since the war. I respect them for that and I'm sure that the other groups who are working behind the scenes are very appreciative of their work as well. |

Funnicator:I'm contrary to the idea that fiscal federalism is easier to obtain than secession. I'm of the opinion that those who've controlled the Nigerian polity since its inception don't actually like the rest of us Nigerians and will not want to be a part of the country if they weren't given the lopsided benefits they are receiving now. |

From an economic perspective, secession makes no sense. That is the main reason no responsible, educated person will form a secessionist party to go and make fools of themselves in Abuja. Why should Igbos, an entrepreneural people with access to a ready market of 200 million people, retreat from that into their little kingdom, abandoning billions of dollars in investments all over Nigeria? It makes no sense.. That's why you only see these thugs and jobless youths supporting the movement. |

i already said this long time....... they are loosing prestige this way... why not fight and claim the ol nigeria politicaly and rename the ol nigeria,biafra.... i dont think many nigerians would be against the idea.... i dont mind to be called biafran.... they have a giant chance to even surpass kowa immediately.................. many nigerians are pissed off about nigerian-politics since 1960.... the chance that ipob could come in the goverment is big... |

Rossikk:That's selfishness to continue pursuing money to the detriment of your home that has been raped, abandoned to rot by FG and you always end up being shot at during religious or ethnic cleansing. Igbo's have been unfairly treated after 1970, so I understand the secession movement, although the approach doesn't look effective to me. |
| Re: IPOB Should Join Politics by Nobody: 10:47pm On Nov 05, 2016 |
Forming a political party is the next best step they can take but i think their top priority is to secure release of nnamdi kanu ,from there we'll see |
| Re: IPOB Should Join Politics by Rossikk(m): 10:52pm On Nov 05, 2016 |
Funnicator:Which home is raped and abandoned to rot? I've no idea what you're talking about. Eastern Nigeria is among the most developed parts of Nigeria, with among the highest living standards. If you were in Sokoto or Borno then what will you do? Kill yourself? It's the people there that I wlll even understand if they say they want to secede. |

Funnicator:Which political party did lord lugard form to amalgamate Nigeria, who and who voted for who on behalf of the tribes and clans in Nigeria or was it under gun point (duress)?. |
| Re: IPOB Should Join Politics by Allsouls: 12:54am On Nov 06, 2016 |
Funnicator:What makes one to have the mandate to represent his group or people?, Any body or group with simple majority is the peoples mouth piece which i think IPOB commands based on what i saw since the arrest of KANU and random sampling of opinions majority from youths of old eastern region. You may tag me IPOB which I'm not but i believe in the truth because its only the truth can set us free. By the way what percentage of Igbo's voted for those that have the mandate to speak for them as you claimed, and where and when was the voting carried out?. |

Rossikk:You are being economical with the truth, Igboland is actuly raped and left to rot, but your are right by saying that igboland is among the most developed part of nigeria (albeit the most individualy modern built up place in nigeria). All those things you saw on the ground are idividual efforts withouth federal presrnce what so ever. |

I think you have a strong point Fornicator(your name though..lol). There should always be a political wing of any struggle for independence. APGA is not a pro independence party, so will not associte itself with such. Even in turkey's kurdistan the PKK is the military wing while the HDP is the political wing with strong presence in the parliament, they most of the time frustrate any move against their people by the govt....I think this is a great idea!! |

Allsouls:Lol, are unemployed thugs the majority in Igboland? I have watched the videos of their protest, and all I can see are very poor and dirty people, mostly touts and thugs who don't know what they are getting into. It's as if they are just following the new trend without knowing the consequences. I am yet to see educated and well meaning igbos support the struggle. |

victorvezx:The same very 'poor', 'touts' who established a radio station over 6 years ago. The same 'poor' 'touts' who registered IPOB and made it international with presence in over 88 countries. The same 'poor' 'touts' you and your fellow hypocrites cannot engage with intellectually but choose to unleash your murderous soldiers on them with many of you hailing the daily harassments, arrests, abductions, tortures and imprisonments. The same 'poor' 'touts' your evil government has expended millions of dollars of tax payers money to checkmate to no avail. You can keep on with your silly lies and propaganda; but I tell you, many of such 'poor' 'tout' are more intelligent than your whole generation and can even buy you lots for keeps and still have enough balance to play with. It's really pathetic how smelly, uncouth miscreants and hooligans would come online to spew trash to attempt to deflect their miseries and eternal pains that a people choose to exercise their inalienable rights to self-determination. Rossikk:Most developed part of Nigeria? Any seaport in SE? Is the International Airport in Enugu allowed to operate at full potential? Is 10% of SE federal roads in good condition? How many rail-tracks take off and end in SE? How are Innoson, Ibeto, Erisco and other SE indigenous companies allowed to operate? I can go on and on, an homogenous all Igbo Biafra is ideal. All this treacherous SS people would bring calamity. I stay in Uyo and know the bitterness they have for Igbos. First class knowledge. |
