The Executive Governor of Imo state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has come under fire again, This time around is for his outfit and also his involvement in the Durbar Sokoto 2016.

His participation in the event didn’t go down well with some Nigerians especially Imo people.

Even though I don't like the man, I don't see anything wrong with his attire. I have seen many people who are not Igbo who dress in Igbo attire, even Buhari and that didn't make them Igbo and nobody criticized them so why criticise Rochas?

Make una free the man. He also holds a traditional title given to him since sultan Maccido. That was even before he became governor in IMO under APGA. As such he is entitled to wear the regalia and celebrate with the good people of sokoto. As a title holder he is paying his respect for the title he holds nothing political or insulting. Also what he wears is fit for a chieftain and not a commoner. He is led on a horse with his entourage as a form of respect and tribute. When you daft folks come here and always try to make things look otherwise it only baffles people. Obj holds ceremonial title too. They just did what any member of the royalty would do to celebrate with the sultan.
If this does not show friendship and good things to come between a people than all the tribalism and hating what else.
The Igbos need to know a tree does not make a forest. Tomorrow the same person you attack today because he choose friendship over hating could get you the support you need from the least expected areas. Encourage the bonds that bind than all the rubbish you encourage.
Even as a nation it would be better and prosperous for you if you have neighbors that is at peace with you. Just like in Europe. Rather than the reverse.
If hating is what you want keep at it and deplete all your energy on it to see where it takes you.

Rochas is too wise. There is no way any Southerner can become the president of Nigeria without romancing the North. Not because the North is good in politics but just because the North has the population both in real humans and in inflated numbers. Jonathan got to the position because Yar'Adua died and Jonathan too was wise enough to romance the North that was why Jonathan did more projects in the North than in the South.

So, let Rochas continue romancing the North, Rochas will get to the presidency is God wishes. You cannot become Nigeria's president by calling the North unprintable derogatory names and calling the West all kinds of evil names, Mama Piss abused the North too much during the last campaign and she is now licking her wounds.
