Until I hear from justice Ademola in court, I reserve my comment. They only said he received money without saying what the money was for.I hope the fg has proof that these lodgements were for gratification? I don't know any law that prevents judges from doing legitimate businesses
NONSENSE COUNT CHARGE

All we can deduce from this charges is that money was paid into the Bank accounts belonging to justice Ademola and his Wife.

This is no proof of crime. The only way the EFCC can prove a crime was committed is for them to prove the judge was handling cases involving these companies as at the periods these monies were paid into their accounts. Anything other than that the EFCC has no case

The law does not work like that!

Each count is an offence and there is a relevant section of law that deals with it. The accused is guilty under such section ...or innocent.

If for example you lump everything together under "one count" and the Judge found him not guilty "on that particular count", then he becomes free on ALL Counts!

He may be declared innocent on fourteen of those count and be guilty on just one, that means he goes to jail on such offence
. undecided undecided

All the people/those whom the Judge had adjudicated against, in relation to those whom he got a bribe from, must ask that their case be re-opened adn re-tried, citing "miscarriage of justice under the influence of Judge tampering", as a reason.
You will first have to convict him before asking for any retrial!! The man is yet to be found guilty. We have not even heard his own side of the story

My friend, you know very well that justice ademola is godson of justice Mahmud and he is the first point of contact for anybody that wants to buy judgement from the high court and supreme court. His case is well known. You also know that the was caught them red handed by using the bribe they collected to sell the recent kogi judgment as a a bait. They were set up and they fell for it because of greed and lack of shame

If you are knowledgeable at all, you should understand the money laundering law on the amount an individual can lodge and transfer. And a judge should also know that. He will have to do a lot of explaining on the type or other works he does as a judge that will fetch such money and to what purpose the money is meant for.

Nigerian law enforcement is a huge joke. See the stupid charges. Received money. Received money. Received money. Is receiving money, in itself and by itself, a crime? Is evidence of receiving money enough proof to secure conviction? How about investigating and establishing the illegality that necessitated the transfer of such monies? Why can't the EFCC establish the CRIME underpinning the transfer of such monies?

I just tire for how we run things here. Everything shouldn't be by gra gra.

But there's what's called consolidation of charges, which is lumping similar charges into one. Have you forgotten when EFCC used to arraign on 100-count charges?

The funds Could be gift to help sponsor a family function or burial at least that is what the APC Lawyer Banire said and he was let go. Anyone can dash anyone money. This shouldn't be a difficult case for the judges to scale through. However, they are guilty of collect Reebah!

You can never see a true Yoruba man shouting witch hunting here, unlike our brothers from the other side of the Niger....

If he indeed collected all this money as a bribe let him face the music, be prosecuted and rot in jail.

Maybe nothing is impossible. We need to know if he was handling any case that involved this companies or law firms during the period in question. It is only such evidence that can secure a conviction. There is no crime in anyone paying money into an account. It is Left for the EFCC to prove the money was for gratification or not from any business transactions between the parties
Mister, get your facts right. Most of these payments and receipts run foul of money laundering laws. Stop defending those who killed Nigeria.

Why would this man mess up his father's great name in the land. He was born into a wealthy & famous family already, has a promisinsing carreer what has happened to him ? Why did he allow the virus of corruption to infest his life ? Why ? What else is he looking for in life. Infact, his conduct is a great disappointment to Yoruba race. We value good name more than silver and golds

This judge and his wife are both bastards to the 100th degree. A wife that would help her husband steal at the detriment of his family name, career, reputation is a bitch not a wife. I pray that the souls and spirit of the innocent that this judge has denied justice hunts them to eternity in Jesus name amen
