go to s plus nairaland thread and see how many thousands of ppl are complaining on this issue. took it back to them already.

I have now concluded that Gionee phones are bad brand. many ppl have said that before but i ignore them until I bought gionee s plus. The phone cant be charged well. for God sake what the hell can I do with this phone. seriously regretted. wasted my 50,000 for nothing.

I have never in my life experience what I'm seeing now in gionee s plus, a phone of 3 months old growing a hard wire problem. a phone that is expected to at least swallow one good year without single problem now see what I found in them. and u r telling me they have good brand. they have changed the charging port for me and the phone is charging now. hope it will last.

Why no marshmellow update for Gionee m5? That's why the big brands like Samsung and HTC are expensive because they updates their phones regularly.

It's very annoying... I mean 7.0 is already out and circulating, and we'll be waiting for ordinary 6.0...

Gionee does not rush in releasing updates just like other phones does release virus as updates, the updates would come, me see they wait.

Hello guys, my gionee m5 seems to have developed a fault. The screen keeps fluctuating when I reduce the brightness to the lowest, and recently when I turn it off and on it does thesame thing. Please what could the problem be? And what do I do about it.

Flex no good
Promixity wahala
Battery no good
Update issues
Now switch off
All on top of one phone haba kilode
Open close to 10 threads on one phone
Go care centre you no gree you said no money

My advice
Sell it and don't buy gionee product again because I don't think they match your star.

Sell it and don't buy gionee product again because I don't think they match your star.

That guy I quoted opened his phone and spoilt the switch flex, he has been on all threads saying gionee is not giving him attention, several times he has been directed to service center but he refuses to go there, it seems he is an engineer and he spoilt someone's m3mini while repairing it, he is now blaming gionee

thay is what we call screen flickering..it only happens in amoled displays.. it doesnt happen in IPS displays.. when ur pixel dos not send enough signal light to ur gpu.. it tend to flicker.. .

you can stop it by unticking adaptive brightness or beta still install gravity box and setting the display to 40 and dim to 12
