does MMM prevent people from putting money in banks? No....... MMM does not reduce money in banks.... It's even giving banks more money from interbank transfers and sms alert fees.... MMM is helping the banks because mmm does not have a central account and all the money stays in participants bank accounts. MMM is real, MMM is good and MMM is the best thing to happen to Nigerian masses

Hmmm do not respond to what you have no knowledge about. Ask senior bankers. "We" (bankers) know the truth (not this CBN cover up story). Everything SR reported is true! Ask any of their staff at the Head Office and regional offices in Abuja. That bank (Heritage) is gone. Mark my words this minute! The CBN would not have said otherwise...

I am not surprised. Everyone knows that any news coming from Sahara Reporters can not be trusted. Well, if CBN is giving Nigerians their words about the status of Heritage Bank, then there is no need tl worry. They've taken the responsibility on themselves. Even if any Nigerian bank should collapse today, customers money will still be refunded with the policy CBN has put in place. No need to panic jare. I knew that the earlier news by Sahara Reporters was false. They'be carroed many news about politicians in the past that was later found to be fake.

Kola, you are obviously not a banker. There are so many things about that bank you do not know. Sahara Reporters reported 99.99% truth in that story (the only errors being typos on names of 3 of their Directors). That bank is gone, believe me!

So why should i trust the report from a self-acclaim professional news medium which cannot get something as simple as names of 3 of tbe bank's director correctly, yet gave me bogus hogwash they claim to know about the bank? Anyway, it is well. Whatever the case maybe, at least we can hold CBN to it.

CBN is a very useless institution filled with brain-dead animals; and I will always take the words of Sahara Reporters over this useless institution anyday.

Remember how CBN said Skye Bank wasn't distressed few months ago? And few days later, Tunde Ayeni (Chairman) & top directors were fired & replaced with new management board.

Afterwards, the CBN took out advertisements in several national newspapers to disclaim the “rumour” that Skye Bank was not distressed.

An article was even published titled: WHY CBN AND LAGOS STATE MIGHT FAIL IN THEIR EFFORT TO SAVE SKYE BANK.

In it, the point was made that contrary to the position of
the CBN and despite the vital interest of Lagos State in saving the bank, the efforts might end in failure because the bank had been undermined by its directors.

Thanks for the heads up. I have an account with heritage I smelled Foul play when I tried using their card for foreign transaction in August the account officer claimed they were suspended from forex market or something similar. I couldn't withdraw dollars with it.

Fast forward to November I went to make withdrawal at their branch it was declined. None of the atm were paying. OK now I tried using same card on another ATM two days ago, I was debited but the transaction didn't sail through. I was credited back yesterday. Something fishy is truly happening . well my cash there no kuku plenty.

I don't think it is a lie... I experienced it despite the fact that I don't have any account with them. Their ATM will not allow you to withdraw more than 10k. I was afraid and had to quickly check my account balance through my app when I punch in to withdraw 16k and was told I don't have I can't do more than 10k... I suspect them
