TTC has been a very trying period for me. emotionally. maritally and financially. Dh left me few months back for another women. Its not been easy but God is faithful.
Pls don't pity me because l know all things work together for God. Am a divine project in God's hand.

I am having receding hairline. ie. my front hair has been chopped off. its not because of tight hair style cos l cut the hair to low cut when l first noticed it thinking it will grow back. Have not done any breading since then.

Was told by a doctor that its because of hormonal imbalance. Hmmmm.
Is there anyone treating or have treated hormonal imbalance. pls what drug did u use that worked. am in my late 30's.. pls l need a drug that is not too expensive cos yours sincerely is surviving by God's grace.. its well.
why does she need drug when there is no more dh. heard the hair will grow back and all the things associated with hormonal imbalance will normalize. Did l forget to say l have overian cyst.

Already making plans to se another gynea .......it is outside the wall ......one thing though, I asked the gynea if one's diet can help in any way and he said it didn't matter but I have found out that it does!.... Just making few diet adjustments have helped to reduce the symptoms ....he prescribed tranexamic acid for my period (7 days -day 1 is light, days 2-5 is heavy, days 6-7 is light). It worked the first month but with a lot of pain especially in my bones but I don't think it worked this second time (today is day 7 of mc).

@somuadee are you taking prenatals? The vitamin Biotin in prenatals help with hair and nail growth as well! Some People trying to grow out their hair take biotin supplements. I've been on prenatals for 3months now and my already long hair is growing more and more like weed! I just know it's the vitamins so pls you could take vits too. Additionally. Eat healthy and drinks lots of water. That's my advise since I don't know anything on hormonal imbalance. Baby dust

@Adiaha, I think you should give the bitterleaf therapy a shot. Do it for a month at least, then take an ovulation drug to stimulate at the next cycle or you could do both in a cycle, however I think you are to stop after CD10.

@Belloq, please go and do hormonal profiling and scans. Thats how one yeye gyny did my own analysis with his stupid hands, then started giving me fertility drugs for 3 months when I had an ectopic preg growing in my right tube. Sonething a scan would have detected. Please always ask questions as well...dont be shy. Its your body.

I can't remember the exact antibiotics that eventually worked cos it kept reoccurring , i remember the dr just telling me I have UTI , I didn't see the result , she gave me nitrofurantoin but it didn't stop so I self medicated with what a pharmacist recommended but it didn't stop. I know i also tried ciprofloxacin as well.
First get the test done, so the exact bacteria is ascertained, not all antibiotics work, the antibiotics that is the most sensitive will be recommended in the test result. Cos if u don't treat with the right antibiotics and complete the dosage it will keep recurring.
I forgot to add that another reason for reoccurrence is not abstaining, u and dh should both be on the antibiotics and abstain from kpekus.

mummykyrti , if I were in ur shoes and I can't go for an infection test, I would do a pregnancy test and if that is ruled out, I would use natural methods to flush out the infection. Probably bitter leaf juice. (I am still yet to try this wonderful bitter leaf therapy).

But since na ovulation time u dey so, u fit add kpekus incase. But try to treat whatever is making u urinate every 5 mins pls. All these little little things matter in TTC. I am talking from my small experience

Sorry I didn't r ur reply well. I took vitex to regulate my period (it use to come as it likes...lol. Sometimes once in 3months) but vitex regulated it somehow (at least it doesn't go more than 31days now).
My meds this month would be clomid 100mg cd2-6, then hcg trigger shot on cd12 then start progesterone on at 3dpo (3days post ovulation). I would be using the progesterone just as a precautionary measure since clomid thins the uterine linning and with pcos...my body does not produce enough progesterone on its own!!!

okay, my period comes evri month, never missed a month but dsnt come at dsame dates, this month might b 28days, next month 29 or 30, still trying to figure out if that is bad, duno abt my progesterone level bcs immediately after ovulation I'll start experiencing serious pregy symptoms. anyways I intend seeing a Ghanian gyneo very soon. tho atimes I feel like its too soon to start letting fear enter me cos am just 3months in marriage

Ttc for baby number 2 for 6months now. Waiting for my period to start next week Monday so I start clomid (on cd2) then hsg on cd9 and trigger shot on cd12. That's the protocol I used for my last pregnancy and it worked like a charm (b/g twin delivered at 35weeks b lost the baby boy).
I pray u get ur bfp and will only need an ob for antenatal not diagnosis.

Just get the urine test done Na! Go see a dr please, am not a dr am only advising cos I experienced it for almost a year . I don't think ur symptom is serious, cos d frequency of mine and burning sensation didn't let me think of TTC, I was practically researching for strong antibiotics to deal with it permanently. If truly it's UTI , d bacteria is not good for your kidneys oooo, it's not sth u take lightly, treat yourself and repeat the urine test to be sure no bacteria is found. it should take maximum a mth, then u continue with TTC.

You don't to buy it fresh everyday. As I read about bitterleaf here, I started the therapy on CD6. Today is my CD9. You can get some leaves, refrigerate so they wouldn't get bad. Wash and drink daily. That way you get the juice fresh and only the leaves get refrigerated. Other mamas in the house is my procedure not okay for busy people?

That's why I always say don't go researching things that do not concern you unless you have strong reasons to. So, u don't create unnecessary tension for yourself.

Take it lightly.

Medically, u get concerned after 1yr for under 35yrs and 6months for 35yrs and above of unprotected s*x

Pls find a good gynaecologist and work with him. If u have not been actively trying for a yr , no gynaecologist will recommend further test. U r still young, pls relax and pray.
You are not married yet but I understand you want to prepare your body so you conceive immediately after marriage, please stop stressing yourself already. stress is not good for ttc. But u can get transvaginal scan done to check ur uterus, more invasive test like Hsg to check your tubes is not advised except you havent conceived for more than a yr.
If I were you since am not yet married, I will give myself three months of the supplements, diet and lifestyle change then repeat d hormonal profile. And also if the transvaginal scan doesn't see any abnormality, please relax urself and pray.

As Nigeria no get light so u can put it on clean, cold bare floor/tiles. I keep mine in the kitchen. It lasts two to three days there.
