I feel like booking a flight ticket. It is all about faith and being courageous. Please remove fear. We must find favour with the reviewers of our visa applications. It is well.

Dear friends, i see a lot of people requesting information about the genuineness of university canada west UCW.....

I only happened to have just applied like any other person really!!..and then i begin to wonder why guys are so worried about this institution being a private one and why they don't take admission fees.... some even say its a scam uni.. !!
Meanwhile UCW isn't the only private University in Canada.

My main and only concern should be to confirm if it is approved by the government to host international students.... and which of course it does... with a DLI number.

The common thing about the private institutions either Uni or colleges is that they apply a lot of incentives to get students enrolled... what more do we expect from a for-profit establishment??

That's why most of them wont usually request application fees and they even call you up to follow through your application process.

And most of the schools aren't cheap!!.. UCW for instance charges about 40k for MBA and more if going through the foundation program (pre-MBA).

You can always romance google when in doubt or mail appropriate govt agencies to clear your doubts. Learn to use these tools at your disposal. When i was in doubt if one can apply for a study permit in USA while on visiting; i mailed los Angeles and got a feedback same day!
Good luck guys!!!

Regards

Timeline,
Applied: Aug 22 (paper route)
Biometrics: Aug 22
Medical mail: 26 sept
Medicals done: 4th oct
I don't know when I passed my medicals lol
Approval mail: 17 nov

Documents:
Birth certificate
Waec results
Toefl results
International passport
SAT results
Bank statement of sponsor (dad) from different banks both in Nigeria and the U.S
Admission letter

When I joined this thread, after reading through all the pages, I was scared that I did not submit enough documents and I'd be rejected especially after seeing the documents people like nony1 submitted but as God would have it, my TRV was approved regardless. My advice to all TRV hopefuls is to keep on praying. It will all end in praise. Amen..

congrats bro.
How much was in the account bro.
do you think 2-3 million naira as statement of account will be OK, for a masters degree in Manitoba.

funny enough my cgpa is also 3.63/5. but sometimes Canada look at your last two years performance on your degree. mine is about 4.2/5 when you find the average of the last two years of your degree.

Sure you can!
Three options were given... online/paper at vsf/post by mail. But because Nigerians are required to submit biometrics, you cannot use the post option. You can apply in as much as you are legally admitted into the country where you are applying from.

Thank you.

Seen some for about 50CAD. Will buy it over there.

Search carefully. You can definitely get for less than $50. Try Walmart Canada, as an example; online or in-stores.

Don't stress yourself unnecessarily, go into any Walmart as soon as you land, it costs just 10CAD.
You can buy just one set now, during spring/summer, it goes on sale, and you can stock up.
Please, don't buy in Nigeria, I doubt that you would see though
Thank you.

Please I have a question, am a student and I'll be resuming for my final year in January here in Nigeria. And I am thinking of doing my master's in industrial chemistry in Canada. .I want to ask if I can start the admission process now for 2018 intakes and if it's advisable to skip NYSC, hope it won't have any negative effects if per chance I wanna stay back and work there. And please what are the reputable schools you think I can apply to with sound chemistry department.
P.S. Anyone currently studying chemistry or related chemistry courses in both undergraduate and master's level should p.m. me or mention me, I have a lot of questions to bore you with. THANKS.

First, concentrate and graduate with Second Class Upper Division.

Second, go for your NYSC programme.

Third, research and apply for your master's programme while in NYSC.

Fourth, get masters admission.

Fifth, gather sufficient documents.

Sixth, apply for visa.

Seventh, get your study visa/permit.

Eight, enrol for studies.

Best wishes.

PLANNING. He need to apply for masters programme towards the end of his NYSC programme, so that his masters admission will be out upon completion of his NYSC programme. Then visa application follows.
