robosky02: Yeah But just as Real Madrid are deemed to have won 11 Champions League titles, despite the fact that 6 of those titles were won when the competition was known as the European cup, and was in a diff format to the present UCL; so too should the Super Falcons be deemed to have won 9 African titles. |

In overall history, We are gunning for La Decima.... Our 10th title. The AWCON (formerly AWC) all began in 1991. From 1998, it took on a new format but doesnt erase the records of '91 and '95. The 1991 and 1995 Editions were on home-and-away basis but were played from first round to final round to produce a champion who will go on to be Africa's sole representative at the women's world cup. robosky02: |

Preparations are high in Limbe. We are all here to support the Nigerian team come tomorrow in Limbe. The team is lodging in a Hotel directly opposite the Nigerian Consulate Building in Buea. Buea is 25 minutes drive to Limbe. Nigerians have a solidarity/ Patriotism second to none in West & Central Africa. When the team went out for training today, the Nigerian community came in the convoy and they shook the town. The ambiance was superb!!! We look forward to tomorrow God willing! Good night from Cameroon. 1 Like 1 Share |
