James hadley chase used to be ish back in d days.I stil remember vito ferrari in "this way for a shroud",d efficient assasin dat can stil get his target even if d whole of nigerian army is guarding d target.I can remember "d vulture is a patient bird"(abt the borgias ring),"trusted like d fox",safer dead,u are dead without money,no orchid for miss blandish etc. On a personal note,I tink its not too healthy for a young mind cos of d intrigues of crimes in it.

quite funny, i read all of it as a teenage. Same plot, same turns at some point i could tell with precision the next event...i got bored and couldn't believe i spent so much time with chase.

I am sorry that I had to post this here. But the situation is such that I needed to do this. As the saying goes – One Bad Apple Spoils the Bunch. And the worst part is that this person whom I trusted turned out to be – what James Hadley Chase said himself – Trusted Like a Fox. The story is as follows:-

I had posted on this forum that I have a lot of books of James Hadley Chase in eBook format and postes a list of the books I need and we can exchange book for a book. So this man who calls himself  Paul Ola ( I am posting his email address and the last email he sent me about a week ago) sent me the following email:

As you can read from the email – Please send all the ones you have on your list,and i give you my word, i would send you the ones you listed  and his promise -He copied the list of the book I needed and emailed me names of the some of the books and said that he had these in word document.

He wanted me to send him all my books – So I sent him 2 books in word document and requested him to send me 4 books and in turn I will send him 4 books and that way we can exchange all the books and in the end I promised him a bonus of 2 more books. He got my 2 books last week and has not responded to my 4 follow up emails. This means that this man does not have any James Hadley Chase books to exchange.

This Paul Ola is nothing but a THIEF, Liar, Cheater, Crook and Embezzler. Do not trust him. Do not deal with him. Paul is forgetting that I am a reader of James Hadley Chase and after reading about 60 of his books – I have learnt the art of negotiation. And that’s why I sent him 2 books – to see if I can trust this man – well I do trust him now but like - TRUSTED LIKE A FOX. Beware of this man. He is a FOX. Please email him and tell him how wrong he has done for others.

Indeed James hadley chase is my favourite i read quite alot of books Ludlum sydney John Grisham marie coreli and many others but hadley is unique with suspense. my first was 'i

Chai!!!! I so love Hardley Chase that out of excitement borrowed off all my parents library because i couldn't stand the fun alone. Sometimes i reminisced and wish the past could be undone, i would have made a safe for it and secure it for my kids. I will keep gathering them until i get the library for my kids too.
