sorry bout the pain,never experienced such.Prolly,the do was rough.It will subside but if it doesn't, you might want or need to see your gynae.

You are on CD 19 it's possible it may be implantation bleed. I had a similar experience on CD 19 but my ended up getting heavy and I flowed for 5 days. i don't know whether to cal it a period because I didn't have the usual PMS. I was shocked because I had never had a 19 day cycle

I suggest you wait about a week then do a pregnancy test. fx for you.

Hi Ladies. This is my first time of commenting. I have being TTC for more than 2years now. Was diagnosed of PCOS as a teenage so started induction with clomid immediately I got married. Iv had a total of 6 cycles(if not more sef) of clomid starting from 50mg to 150mg with no show. Also had hcg in 2 of the cycles. Actually had chemical pregnancy after one of d cycles, However I Lost it after 8weeks.My hubby travelled for a year so had a long break from all drugs except metformin which I was using 1500mg per day. Hubby is back now and about to start ovulation induction with hmg. Enough with clomid!!! Actually suggested to use Letrozole to my gynae but she said she prefers I use hmg. Just finished primolut to induce withdrawal bleed(AF) and will start hmg 150IU day 3.(Pls is hmg a daily injection and for how many days? Then when am I meant to start follicular tracking? ) Currently on Metformin 1000mg, Fertilaid 3tabs daily. I'm prayerful for a positive response this time. This year will not pass me by in Jesus name. Baby dusts to us all.

Mama's, I was like that, but you can only ask questions when you know what to ask for. Most time, as newly wed, you will think that getting pregnant was very easy, then when after almost a year, u start getting worried.
I went to Georges hospital after a year to find out, and on day 9 of my cycle, the main doctor did TVs on me, but then I didn't know what he was doing, and he didn't see any follicle, he asked me to come in two days time, then he saw, and that was my journey, every other day I was going, then when he saw a mature one, he told them to give me an injection, I sneaked and read the paper and saw it was pregnal.

He never for once told me he was tracking my follicle, even when my hubby went for his SFA, he just told me hmmm, we can work with this, I then asked, please what is it, cos I have read a little about sperm count, then he told me it was borderline count, imagine, wetin I know wey be borderline.

For every time I went for tvc and consultation, It cost 25k, but luckily it was my health service that was paying, when my HMO would not pay for further investigation, I went looking for another hospital, luckily I had joined this group, and had learnt so much and continue to read.

Don't get me wrong, Georges is a good hospital, but communication wise, it wasn't it for me. Hospitals abroad would sit and explain everything in lay mans term.
I thank God for this group, and pray that we will move from this place ASAP, Cos its really not where to be, but we learn a lot and thank God for the grace to overcome.

i just felt like sharing this, cos i used to be like you and other women out there, and after going for tvs or any scan, my dh would ask me for the result, and i wud be blabbing, the sonographer didnt tell me, or he said everything is good etc, my dh would get very furious, and instruct me to ask for specifics n even remind them before the procedure, we are paying these guys for these services, so they shud divulge every every.

imagine 1 tvs i went for back then, uterine lining size in mm wasnt stated, sonoguy just said its ok, follicle size same thing
now, am better armed for them,o, no rubbish, write out everything for me chikena!

I have never been on clomid, but what I have read from here, u shouldnt be on it for a long time. If you haven't done your hormone assessment, I suggest u should do it, and be prayerful, that's all we have. Other sabi mamaa will come and touch light on your matter.

Hi. Clomid did not make you ovulate or did not produce follicles?
Hmg is good, but I think 150iu is too much for u for a start and this is the first time you'll be using it. It's a very powerful drug, if not used carefully, u could become the next octomum...lol. I used 50iu of hmg and produced 9 mature follicles between 17-24mm!!!
With hmg, u will need to be monitored every 2days to check your progress and adjust dosage of need be. If you can, let ur doctor start monitoring from day 4 of the injection. But 150iu is too much!!!
And yes it's a daily injection given either in ur stomach or intramuscular (I prefer stomach tho, u can do it urself safely).

My sister it's well. I don't hv an answer to you question cos dis tin is strange to me. I hv neva experienced anytin like it b4 but let's hope it's implantation and notin else.

Thanks. I ovulated just that I didn't conceive except when I had d miscarriage . I will talk with my gynae about the dosage but she just feels we are running out of time ni.

Thanks. Iv done hormonal profile, Hsg and all necessary tests. Only problem is PCOS. Hubby's SFA is also OK.

hello dear, letrozole gives less follicles but better endometrium when compared with clomid but every gynae has its preference.there is really nothing to worry about using 150iu. hmg because it is a common dosage for iui and timed intercourse but if worried you can take it for 2day and do a scan. @Stephaniecoa:your case of stimulation response of 9 follicles with 50iu is very rare . you amh value must be very high and is not for people like her that has used clomid as high as 150mg.

so i think she can go with her gynae suggestion of 150iu and if scared scan after 3days of taking it but if not start clomid 50mg bd start day 2 for 5days and start hmg on day 3 150iu for 5days scan on day 10 and trigger hcg if follicle is good or rescan day 12 and trigger ovulation that day .

Checking the position of cervix will likely tell the doctor if she's pregnant or not. So he/she must have been checking if the cervix is closed or open and may as well check for polyps et al. Just that I personally don't agree with that. I'd tell the doc to send me for tvs, its my money and makes me more comfortable. My doctor once wanted to check my cervix when I was having abnormal bleeding after a Clomid cycle, I bluntly refused and he sent me for PT which I went ahead with.

Mama no refrigeration is allowed. You spread in a cool environment. even if it dries a bit in the cool weather, the job will still be done.

hello dear, i will also recommend fertilsan M , because it contains both amino acid and the necessary vitamins. i have a patient of mine with severe oligospermia and teratozospermia, he used it for 3months and i couldnt believe it when he did a repeat sfa and from a severe oligospermia he 90x106. if you can get it in nigeria, try it although is more expensive than the rest .

Allow the water to dry then tie in nylon. It will last about same days before dis-colouration.
