Any one around still awaiting permit of has gotten one after 18 weeks of applying as currently i am already losing abit of hope.

PLS HOUSE ONE VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION I HAVE TO ASK.

I AM CURRENTLY WORKING NOW AND MY PROBATION PERIOD IS TO ELAPSE NEXT YEAR APRIL, HOWEVER I ALSO NEED SOME TIME TO DO SOME PERSONAL SAVINGS FOR MY SELF.

HOWEVER, BY NEXT YEAR I WILL BE 27, I WOULD HOWEVER WANT TO GO FOR MY MASTERS 2018, BEING THAT I WOULD COMMENCE THE APPLICATION NEXT YEAR.

DO YOU THINK AT 28 IT COULD POSE A PROBLEM FOR ME TO ATTAIN A STUDY VISA?

THANKS.

Your age will pose no problem in your MASTER degree study permit application. Your only focus should be to present a good application when you are ready to apply. Reflect consistency in your previous degree and intended, show strong home ties and financial capabilities. You'll be good. All the best.

Hello my dear brothers and sisters, I've been silent on the thread because I was really scared after I submitted my application. TBH, I was not even reading posts here again so I don't get sad and discouraged. I was truly scared. I mentioned here once that I was sure I was going to get my msc admission to UOIT but my dear friends, I was not accepted cry. But while I was waiting for that UOIT admission, something in me prompted me to apply to Durham college for a similar course I intended studying in UOIT just in case. I was very reluctant to apply to Durham because I was too sure about UOIT (I met their admission requirements or so I thought) but eventually I did and got their acceptance letter in 4days lol. As sad and as reluctant as I was in applying for my TRV with my PGC admission because of all I had seen here & being that this was my second application though the first was PGD in HRM which was not what I studied in my undergraduate years, I summoned up the courage to put up a good application (not the best) and I went ahead to submit. I prayed and asked my God to do the rest for me despite what man says and as a God who never fails, He didn't let me down. I got my approval mail this morning, I also tracked and saw passport dispatched. I did upfront medicals. Truly, God answers prayers and does things in His own way and at His own time. Though PGC was not what I really wanted, who am I to complain. I believe I will still achieve the best with this. The way my parents are happy ehnnn, its as if they are the ones traveling. They are even happier than I am. I want to thank you all for your contributions; MichV, arcayo, Tarry & everyone else. I want you all to know that God's ways are not man's ways.

I will list the documents I submitted and how I tried to tackle the refusal reasons in my first application.

Hi @Oversworld.
1. Yes i applied Online
2. They sent an automated message immediately and the next day i got a typed response mail from one of their staff that they had received my mail and additional document i sent.(But that is because in my email i asked them to 'confirm that they had received my email').
3. I sent my email to the Accra. immigration@international.gc.ca , but that is because i was 100% sure my application was sent to Ghana however some applications are done in Lagos here.

My advice send to both emails, it will cost you nothing, also like @yemdogg said, check for that cic thing on your page and send it there too.
In addition , the Title of your email must have your Application nos and tell what the email is about. eg RESPONSE TO VISA OFFICER FOR APPLICATION 1234567
