Its fun anyway. But am of the opinion that there is no need (call) for Armed Body Guards for Pastors or Men of God generally... My people say that: "Iwa omo lo mo omo shay okigbe"... meaning 'your character prompts you to seek traditional bulletproof'. As far as am concerned, if you believe in the security of God, security men will be useless. And if God says one (probably a man of God) will die thru bullet or assassination, he can never escape it. I was in Gambia in 2000/2003 and attended Winners Chapel. Bishop Oyedepo came to Gambia Church in 2002 and was preaching the second day he arrived in the Church.
Right in the middle of his sermon a woman stood up in the congregation and started making her way to the pulpit. The resident pastor was shouting stop that woman. stop that woman and the Church security guys were like under spell , were sluggish and the woman almost made her way up if not for the swift response of the resident pastor himself who jumped down to stop the woman and dragged her out of the church.
No one knows her mission. what would have happened if she was not intercepted.

Although Jesus did not call the disciples to be his bodyguards but one of them always acted like that was what he was called to be. Even to the point of forgetting the power carried by master, who needs no help from man .Peter is the overzealous man.

These Pastors need bodyguards for protection as some members of their churches are eyeing the G .O's position which the G.0 too is not ready to relinquish too soon. They need to take measures against weapons of the enemies both within and without. No man wants to die if his treasure is much in the kingdom of earth!
