Mrchusenvessel:To an extent they are taught. But seeing Nigerian institutions as they are, it might just be a jamboree of theory. My advice is that if you truly want to develop yourself as a programmer, most of it will come from your own personal efforts and practice. There are various tutorials online that can greatly benefit you. Also NL has a programming section, you can find some pretty useful things there too. |

Mrchusenvessel:Mehn! For Nigeria you'll be taught but not a great deal. Some lecturers might even be confused and not well versed in it, so you'll need to make extra effort yourself. I(mechanical) was taught in my 200/300lv but looks like I gained nothing, so I'm considering teaching myself when I get a new laptop with YouTube tutorials. |
