I did my orientation in Wailo back in the day. It was cool then and we enjoyed it. I can't believe it has become an eyesore. I doubt if this is Wailo though.

“So my younger sister was posted to Borno state for the ongoing NYSC orientation camp, but she’s camping in Bauchi state due to the security situation in Borno.

“Below are some pictures of the dilapidated building where she and some others girls have been condemned to spend 21 days. The rooms are dingy, infested with bed bugs and a sickening stench of Urine. This is wicked and totally unacceptable!

This is a fallacy I camped in BATCH last year Batch B 2015 and it was perfectly OK.

Imagine how inconvenient this is, and to think of staying in such a place for 21 days. But its terrible that this place accomodates secondary school student of JSS1 to SSS3.

This is a Federal Unity college (Gen Hassan Usman Katsina)and not the NYSC camp for Bauchi state. This means averagely some younger ones stay here for over 4years.

Yet allocation is being giving for structural rehabilitation of public schools almost yearly.

Bauchi state have a camp at Darazo Wailo. The place was not used for a while because its along Maiduguri axis and security can't be guaranteed there.

Camped @ wailo camp when boko haram was still a foetus. But hey c mon its just 21 days, if u can survive in that deteriorated camp , you can survive any situation in life.
I remember being posted to gamawa lga, a town without mobile signal, radio and tv signal. I thought i would die , but the formation i got there is still leading me up till today.

This is Wailo campa in Ganjuwa LG. Whao . This is a gory sight! I served there in 2008 and I tell you, the accommodation was one of the best in the country then. This is a result of poor maintenance of government facilities.
