this is a great move, and must be supported across borders, last election voters here in AKS left for the pooling centres wit da voters card... but were Neva allowed to vote, as the materials for were hijacked to sum unknown destination and mass tumped. #Kudos to the bill initiator. #1man1voteIspossible 1 Like |

AKpken: how exactly will these favour them ? these sanators for the first tym after (joining the #dontTouchMyData protest) are trying to bring in transparency into the electoral system via the use of card reader, and you say it will favour them ? they are already Senators, with enough money and man power to hijack ballot boxes, and mass thump their self to victory. This move favours just politicians with grassroot support, who are will have people with verifiable votes, (not once hijacked and mass thumped printed in some forest) let's always appreciate something good and worthwhile, not minding where its comming from. #peace 7 Likes 1 Share |

From the details I think is a good idea since it seems the bill seeks to legitimize the card reader. Card reader wasn't in any law that was why rivers and akwa ibom governors excaped being removed despite clear discrepancy with the card reader. Furthermore the bill seeks to stop the usage of manual accreditation if card reader fails as some unscrupulous politicians will deliberately engineer it failure so that manual register will be used thereby rigging the votes 4 Likes |

Nonesense. I tot they will take away the power to appoint d inec chairman from the president and allow d inec to be totally independent. Till dis is done My drivers Lincence will always be more important to me than a voters card. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Lordsocrates: You know some people have been programmed to castigate the Senate for no reason whatsoever. The media have manipulated them not to objectively reason out things but to throw out all their frustrations on the legislature. They don't see wastage in the executive, they see it in the legislature. Etc. 3 Likes |
