I actually see you as being smarter than the lot of Atheists here as you can place a finger on your limitation and know that creation MUST seek out God as that is how they are designed and for those who deny the existence of God they become gods to themselves. My advice is this (although you would not be needing it) Keep praying to this God whom you know for yourself as the one who answers prayer at HIS discretion and trusting that He knows why he wants it so and you will indeed hit your taadaa moment.

Shield your ears from the atheists here who cannot fathom how one can cease to be religious (which is mans attempt at getting to know God) and yet serve and Know God for himself. Its a messy quagmire for them so try not to entangle yourself with that even though you did try it before and saw the stupidity in it.

Contradictions are what you call it. I call it mans attempt to UNDERSTAND and EXPLAIN God. Same as what we are doing today. The OP has experiences which vary from him to the next man. No man can define God from His perspective only which is why the Bible is simply a guide to the bigger picture.

The problem here is that you simply see THE BIBLE but i see something bigger and deeper than that and i connect to it by FAITH.
