We are very grateful for the likes of Emir SLS, a Fulani positively criticising the government lead by a fellow Fulani. In GEJ's time, no IJAW raised a single voice against all the evil deeds of GEJ. They were all applauding him as if he was a saint. Sheer tribal support will lead us no where. We must speak truth like SLS and other northerners has been doing no matter whose ox is gored. Tribal solidarity will lead us to pit while patriotism will promote us.

What Emir Sanusi is saying is right to a certain extent, the only problem is I don't know if he is criticising the government for relying on CBN for funding or its inability to improve export to a certain level or by some magic increase the price of crude oil. Yes the government don't have a definite FX policy and it is stock in the middle between total devaluation and flexible exchange rate. Devalue the naira completely without increase in export, functional/adequate refineries and increase local production, and watch as the prices of goods and services skyrocket. Maintain the flexible exchange rate and prices of goods increase significantly but have a some worth stable foreign reserve, lack of confidence by foreign investors. to the best of my knowledge this is what the government is faced with. The question is when is it appropriate for us to see substantial improvement in export, local protection, refinery and agriculture.

Even Sanusi, up to two days to the last presidential election in Nigeria, Sanusi and CNN 's Christian Amanpour were still on joint political campaign on CNN Live broadcast for Buhari.
