I don't believe in the supernatural because I haven't experienced one, and people who usually experience those are often religious, and religious people are not to be trusted, cuz they bring claims without proof!

To be honest, I used to be very curious about so many things in the Bible growing up, but as i grew older, I understood better... I'll try as much as possible to address d issues u raised

First, d creation story (and all other contents) of d Bible were written by inspired men of God... God Himself gave dem knowledge of what happened during the creation... He's God, Isn't He?...creating light from nothing (without d sun) shouldn't be difficult for someone that created you, me, d earth and all other planets.... Let's assume you're a renowned heavy weight champion, you can lift a bulldozer...but find it difficult to lift a 10 ltrs keg (funny right?)

We can categorically say the big bang theory purported by science is God's word saying "Let there be..." and there was.

As for language, I dont see y you shud be bothered about language spoken by heavenly beings...whenever God speaks to man, He does so in a language understood by men....BTW, some peeps are gifted in speaking in tongues (y has science not explained dat?... because they can't)

The tower of Babel was not built because dey wanted to see God(hell No!) For those who wstch nollywood, where there is a native doctor/babalawo scene, the diviner always answers in parable..it is those parable that the jews wrote down..whatever the diviner says is the world of God..it is when you understannd the parable that is when u have gained something..
but we are not jews or romans, so it is difficult for us to undderstand their parable thst is why we look at the stories from a literal point of view..
for us to understand the message in the stories we need to have an idea of their symbolism, numerology and iconography . a typical example is solomon having 700 wives and 300 concubines..i have not heard any pastor or fada preaching about this story becsuse we do not understand it. but a 10 year old jewish boy knows what the number 700 and 300 represent. and what the wives symbolises..
so in my humble opinion the bible is useless to us..
we have our own way of narrating spiritual stories..let us tell our own stories. that is where our prosperity lies..we have to retarch our selves to our roots thats the only way we can blossom..not make other peoples belief our reality.....shalom brothers

Am not talking of the scientists that believed, afterall they have every reason to, some of them were actually there, during Armstrong's departure to space and also witnessed his return.

who was there on the first day with God? If God hasn't created humans? In what language did God Say "let there be light" when humans have not even been created, how did God know something like "light" if it was the first day? The tower of babel :

you all believe that the Babylonians built a tall building that they could see God with it, and God didn't want them to see him, so he confused them.. Now look at this story, how tall was the tower? Did it enter the clouds? Because today humans are even leaving the earth completely without seeing any god, or do you want to say the tower entered space (that had no oxygen)? How tall was the tower then because am very sure the tower didn't leave the earth, because to leave earth you must use a certain velocity! And be equipped with oxygen tanks.. But you all believe this story because it is written in the Bible

The Noah's ark:

how big was the ark that it carried over 7million species of male and females, so were mosquitoes and cockroaches in the ark? How did Noah communicate with the mosquitoes? So a lion, a tiger, a puff adder snake were in the ark and they didn't kill Noah and his family? And it's impossible to have a worldwide flood because the earth isn't flat! So did Noah also "trekk" to Africa to pick some animals because I was sure there was no transport means back then that could move you cross continents, or Africa hasn't been created? .. but you guys believe this story because it is the Bible!

The story of Cain and Abel

So Adam and eve were the only humans on earth, and they had two sons. Now Go and read Genesis chapter 4.
So when Cain killed Abel, and he had a conversation with God.

Where did the "whoever" come from? Since the earth inhabited maximum of 4 people at the time, Abel out of the picture, we had 3.. And where did the rest of the people in the world come from? Trust me, Christians don't even want to think about this, because apparently being religious makes you illogical!
