She lied in the book just to make it interesting so I believe she lied against her ex for her to sell. If you have read up to page 60 I believe you must have seen where she was careless in her lies.

I only admire her for writing a book not that I believed in what she wrote to be a true story. Some people who they are reading books before they get to page 10 they have forgotten 70% of the things they read on page 2. That's why most people find it hard to notice things that didn't add up properly

Ladies,I want us to learn from this book..At first,when I read the book I blamed Maje buh after sitting for a while I concluded that Maje isn't the only one to be blamed... From what she wrote,she was a nagging girlfriend and wife always wanting to know her man's step,she didn't do things that'd make d guy love her(apart from the bleaching),all she cared about was d girl he was involved with...Though, its normal to feel bad when your guy cheats on yhu buh I think instead of flaring up at everything,she should try to study the guy and know what he really wants in ladies,From that book, Maje never loved Toke,He married her outta pity,Why won't Maje love Anita when he broke her virginity(the best gift) and she was always there for him to the extent of doing his project for him..abeg which guy no go like DAT kind lady.
Every guy wants a Lady that would understand him,there are some things you'll know buh you jez have to pretend you don't. Maje didn't love her,she saw DAT buh because she was blinded by love she still went on with the guy thinking he would come to love her. Ladies please be careful when choosing your life partner,marriage is a mistake that can cause a stigma in one's life forever,A school one never graduate from,choose wisely!

TOKE said 6 months after they started dating she saw pic of her ex and another lady on FB. They started dating 2002 because on one part of the book she made reference to 2007 Christmas and she said that was 5yrs after they first met. She also said they started dating almost immediately the time they first met .  So if she is saying she saw a pic of her ex and a lady on Facebook just over 6months when they started dating that means it's that same 2002 or early 2003. The issue here that's confusing me is that FACEBOOK was found 2004. So how did Toke manage to put that together Was she having her own FACEBOOK before Mark Zuckerberg ?

it might not be a perfectly accurate story of herself. I believe she added maggi and salt to make the story sweeter longer and maje look like a terrible beast

people are that mean to publish lies and won't give a damn bou any reactions just for sales ,iono about her lies tho,buh I'm certain of her stupidity ,you know this person likes you but loves another and you caught him serially cheating on you with her, and you still went ahead to marry him ? that's how stupid her love life was thinking he would change .
People don't run away from what they know ,once you start,just takes a little cajoling you'll continue...

For those that claimed she lied regarding the Facebook issue,that was a typo error (the date).If truly anyone read the book not for the juicy whatever but 'reading for art sake',one would be able to decipher,relate and see that it was just a typo error. As to if it was a lie or not,I think it wasn't and I would say why:because we(most of the readers) weren't there when she was growing up,we only saw what we were asked to see the same way we are judging what we are asked to read,so by the authority that guides a writer,whatever that was said is true. In short,I think she is so sure of what she wrote as she poses that memoir to Maje&Anita as: I DARE YOU. She never played the righteous fellow in that memoir,truth be told. She acknowledged her naivety, stupidity,everything acknowledgeable that was wrong,so nothing was biased on that book.
