My brother, sorry for that experience. The truth is that church members frustrate d effort of church workers. Am a member of d Protocol dept. in same Church. we re equally in charge of d parks n cars parked. There is always that loud announcement in church that members should obey d traffic controllers. Amongst us re senior police officers, military personnels, FRSC etc. ur disobedience caused u that. Coming to a social media to castigate or seemingly discredit d Church of God n d "pastor u respect" is very Unchristian. its possible where u parked is an "entry". he may ve repeated encountered such provoking disobedience. so don't blame him much. Thanks. hope to see u next Sunday in church. Victor
My bro don't mind him. he won't obey simple instructions. he thinks he can blaspheme the church of God; God have mercy on him.

Good Afternoon Sir.

I am Rose, a member of staff of Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

We write to apologize for the unfortunate experience you had.

Such a volunteer's extreme measure was not representing the Church

As I am sure you can testify that neither Dr Paul Enenche nor his wife would act like that or approve such a behaviour.

An investigation has already been set in place to find out those responsible as we intend to make sure it does not happen to another person.

Also, the Church Director of Administration would please like to see you with regard to this very unfortunate experience.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, 28th by 3pm would be a great time, if convenient for you. Our apologies please. You can reach me on 09032169603. Thank you Sir.

cheesy cheesy

Bad mouth

Op you should have reported him to a higher authority. If he had given you a good reason why you should not park there-fine and good but since he did not then he was wrong.
did the OP asked the usher why he shouldnt park there?

But the Usher guy was not right for tampering with the car tyres.

I see the church has written to the OP, let's just put this behind us and move on.

Goodafternoon Sir. Yes Sir. The Church Director of Administration demanded an apology be sent to the brother for the unfortunate experience. Dr Paul and Dr Becky are very respectful and courteous people who treat elderly and young people with utmost respect. It is such a pity that the volunteer in question did not represent their values. We trust that such would not happen again. Our apologies once again please. Thank you Sir

the usher must have had reasons of asking you nt to park and following his actions on your your reason of disobedience.
Let's not forget that he's incharge of that office- out of experience, He may be avoiding something (atleast @ the moment) you may not know.

Did you really read the op's narration very well? Even if the Usher was in charge of directing vehicles and the op insisted on parking at a spot, does that give him the right to threaten to beat him up, a fellow worshiper in the same church?

As is customary of me, I attended Dunamis Int'l, Abuja today, the 25th day of January 2015.

I parked my car at the garage created for that purpose. One of the ushers in grey suit menacingly approached me and sternly warned me not to park there. Cars were parked beside me without any warning issued to the other drivers.

I had to look around so as to be sure I was not missing anything, after doing this, I told the usher from the pit of hell that the spaces between my car and surrounding vehicles was wide enough for entry and exit (true to my word, the cars that were in the garage when I parked had moved out and other cars had parked in their stead).

At the close of service, I was shocked to discover my tyres had been maliciously deflated. Instinctively, I had to look around for the usher from hell who took offence that I had the audacity to challenge the reasonableness of his instructions, I was not surprised to find he was no where to be found.

Consequently, I approached one of the ushers on ground to make a harmless complaint, I was dumbfounded when he threatened he was going to beat me up if I don't take my car in the state of its deflated tyres out of the garage. I dared him, but sensing I was a little enlightened he exercised restraint.

These two attitudes I experienced today got me wondering what the church of today is turning into. Are these really the signs of end time? If workers in church put up these attitudes (albeit unjustly), can it be said that the preaching that comes up from the pulpit is in anyway purging society of evil, looting, corruption, prostitution and malice?

Whilst I respect the grace and will continue to respect the grace and anointing of the Senior pastor of the church, Dr. Paul Eneche, I wonder what a christian whose faith is still shaky will do in my circumstance.

This post is actually a clarion call for pastors to be wary of the character that surrounds them, because these workers are the image the public has of the church.

.........if you respect the man of God as you posted above, you shouldn't have brought this matter to the market place(which nairaland is) for discussion. Why not report it to one of the pastors? If you consider the church, your family church, you will not bring such incident to the judgement seat of the world. If you feel something better could be done, why don't you join that unit and in time show them a more befitting way to carry out their assignment! We need to grow up in our actions and reactions concerning ecclesiastical matters which concern us.
God Bless!

Well I refuse to believe this tales, however if it is true, please don't be angry. Don't always think every body in church are good pple there are also bad pple there. The most importat thing is between You and God. The ark Nuah built carried sheep, doves and gentle animals, but snakes, lions and deadly animals was also inside. God bless You

Interesting. Remember the story about the wheat and the tares.
And the servant wanted to separate them and the master of the House said, No, we will gather them up at harvest time, we will separate the tares from the wheat, put all the wheat into the barns, and throw all the tares into the fire.

Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

When will you go beyond the place when someone can offend you?. Have you thought about that?

If we were there to see how this op related with the usher, am so sure it was rude and maybe like imagine an ordinary usher telling me where to park oh.
2. Had it been your car had been stoled after service, u won't be here crying for deflated tires
3. If u can't follow instructions even in the church, I imagine the type of person you will be at home, work or elsewhere, u will be the type that won't hesitate to slap a fuel pump attendant at the gas station because he/she is a low life person.
3. Must time, we don't see what this people that controls traffic in churches/mosque faces when everywhere gets muddled up as a result of stubborn vehicle owners like you that knows how and where to park best and you will still be the ones honking like u never had a toy when everywhere gets jam-packed.
Mind you, this pple r doin this for God n nt getting payed. Far more better than u that comes to warm benches and do fashion show on Sundays only
Like u said, u could have beaten the usher that deflated ur tires had it been u met him/her there. U not a good believer.
No one is perfect, myself included. Just a lesson for u to be obedient.

U are freeto attack me as many as u are.

World Biggest Dome: Irukka Online Commend Dunamis Church

Irukka Online Limited, the representative of Wharfedale Pro, British most famous loudspeaker company in the UK has commended the General Overseer of Dunamis Church, Pastor Paul Enenche for building the biggest church in the world in Nigeria and giving them the opportunity to be part of the historical edifice.

Irukka Online limited installed the sound system in the 100,000 sitter capacity church which is the biggest in the world. According to the chairman of Irukka Online Limited, Ifeanyi Onwubiko, apart from bringing positive news to Nigeria, tens of thousands of Nigerians benefited from the world-class edifice.

He said that up till now, St. Peter Basilica in Rome was the biggest church in the world with a capacity of 60,000. Adding that based on that tourists were going there, thereby generating revenue for the country.
According to him, the location of the church in Nigeria has helped in the development of technology in the country since Irukka Online Limited had to up its game before it could power the dome. He said that apart from the spiritual side of the project, its economic side cannot be underestimated as a lot of families were liberated from poverty.

Onwubiko said that with the feat, other parts of the world would be coming to Nigeria to learn the technology that was displayed which is not in any other part of the world.

“I want to commend the General Overseer of Dunamis Church, Pastor Paul Enenche for the opportunity that was given to us to install the sound system in what is now the biggest church in the world. The challenge to power the sound system in the biggest hall in the world made us to go in and bring out our best and in the process made Nigeria proud because we learnt that many other sound companies both local and international were invited but they failed. We are very grateful for the opportunity. I also want to emphasize that the project helped a lot of families, including that of Irukka Online Limited to put food on their table.
