Guy, he died for the sins that were committed from the time of Adam till now, and so that we will have victory over sin by his blood and his grace. so that when you become born again his blood cleanses you from your past unrighteousness, and you become totally forgiven, then if you go back and continue sinning you have polluted yourself naw,so you can't enter heaven, but then the important is to always ask for forgiveness. Thank God that God is loving father who gives many chances , hence we are not consumed like in the days of old.

Yes Jesus died for our sins, but People still go to hell because they consciously chose to reject his finished work on the cross.

Its like when a prisoner sentenced to life imprisonment, is granted amnesty by the president. but deliberately refuses it, even after he/she has been informed.

But it's been known since from the days before he came to earth that people who repent before their death are forgiven of their sins, so Jesus had no reasons to die for our sins since it won't make any difference

Jesus death is like creating a route to eternal life and all you need is to accept to be on this route

John 14:6

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour , you have chosen to take the route to eternal life because your sins are now forgiven since He died for you .
