incomplete application. I certified my docs at ministry of foreign affairs and education. Now I am requested to certify at Austrian embassy but before it's usually after getting admission

Nope. That has always been the rule, except you are applying to a private university! Legalization of documents is compulsory ! Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then payment for lawyer's verification and then, payment for legalization of the verified documents!
Then, you can apply for admission!

Can anyone confirm here that the Austrian universities are mostly tuition free? I would really love to get a good feedback. Also are students allowed to work part time while going to school?

Austria don't offer free tuition fee for international students.

This is the list of European countries still offering that http://europe.graduateshotline.com/free-education.html#.WEQlEPmLTIU

I didn't know o. Can you kindly list documents that are to be submitted for legalisation? it's 40 euro per doc. can't afford to take excess docs and I don't want to miss any as I will have to pay another 70k for the lawyer

how true is it free tuition for undergraduates? & besides is can a student study & work same time..

the education in Austria is free but you pay between 1200 - 1500 EURO per year as an international student
18 euro for student union
500-800 euro is for living expense. (this i correct)

Yes you can work and study at the same time, its advisable that you learn some german before arriving the country so as to enable you get job easily.
your chance of securing a job there will be based on your level of german language .that is how much german language you know.

I have never heard about an English taught UG course in Austria. Only a few schools offer English taught PG courses, like the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Montanuniversitat Leoben, Steiermark.

You will have to add University statement of result/ certificate and your result transcripts, either you collect it from your school registry or it will be forwarded to the Ministry of Education, Abuja. ( depending on your school's regulation)

That's Outrageous!
Normally 300 per document.
Maybe the person that gave you that information na All these Agent hanging around there.

To save you cost.Let me repost how I did mine.
Re: Anyone Schooling In AUSTRIA by Nobody: 9:24am On Dec 08, 2016
Go along with all your originaLS.
There are Two types of process,
1 express, 2 normal process.
if you are in a haste, Or if it's a matter of
urgency, I'll advice you to follow the first option.
but remember it will cost you much depending
on how many docs you're authenticating.
for normal option.
Come as early as 8:am in the money,
come with Neco/weac scratchcard (For o'Level) (or carry your school certificate (bsc) just carry any documents you wish to authenticate go.)
with that scratch card, you will use it to reprint
your result in a coloured platform,
photocopy it into three copies,
photocopy your original documents each three
copies.
Take it to 8Th floor (education section) at
ministry of education complex .
take the lifter, don't use the staircase (To avoid
Pains in your legs)
When you reach(8Th floor,)Tell the Otis(He is
the one operating the lifter, tell him you will be
alighting on 8Th floor.)
when you reach, ask the security man positioned
at the entrance to direct you where to pick form
for authentication.
when you're in.
you will pay 250naira for the form, you will be
presented with a long brown envelope for
encasing your already photocopied docs.
take the form and fill whatever you deemed fit.
Take the already filled form downstairs (Through
a lifter)
walk down to a cyber café and Tell the computer
operator to generate a pin for you to pay via
Authentication of docs.
printing plus generating of pin will cost you
250naira,
take that generated pin to your nearby bank
(Zenith/Nexim bank)first ask those officers
(Bank officials)if they have network for
processing of your teller,(because you will need
printout after paying) If it happens that they are
having network hiatus, just ask where Nexim
bank is located around there, go and pay there,
( very fast)
take your teller plus the printout to revenue for
conversion, (they will convert it from teller to
receipt)
take the receipt back to 8Th floor, they will
collect their desired documents from you, after
that.they might( its under probability, )ask you to
wait and collect it or come back tomorrow.
please, each document cost 300naira,so if you're
authenticating 5 or 10,multiply it by 300.

If you think all these process na stress, You can pay your 2,500 .

I think that I have some objection because I was also at the consulate yesterday to pick up my resident permit but was informed that I need to apply for a visa (it takes 10 days) to get to Austria!
1. All documents, must be stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, else, the embassy will not honour it. That is a time tested fact!
2. A police character report lasts for three months! So,I think that your info is ambiguous. Perhaps, they were referring to copies!
4. Please, speak to your account officer in the bank to inform you about ways of running your account. Tell him that you want to use it to apply for a visa, because the embassy asked me to pay another 120k for a lawyer to verify the financial transactions of my company because they were shocked and suspicious of the massive cashflow.
5. Stop wasting your money on agents and short cuts! Pay directly and cut your expenses, because this is a country in recession! Just pray that you don't encounter 10% of what I have encountered, else, you will spend unneccessarily till your wallet will produce blood!
Danke!

1. Correct

2.The 1st police character is for three months for the legalization stuff, the period the consular will check. The next three months is for the visa processing. By then, the first police character will have expired (that's what the officer said) and that the process may enter the 7th month.

3. I will be using my brother as sponsor. so his documents will show his salary included with his employment stuffs and payment slip

4. No one is using an agent here. it's why we are sharing infos

Bandeco:

When you say "necessary to know German " in what context do you say that?

you can get a german university admission without having a german language certificate(eg from GOETHE INSTITUTE)or knowing how to speak German.universities in german give you admission to study with them.

but the German embassy here requires that you learn german language so that u can cope with their environment over there.
Austria is not like that, that's why i mentioned in one of my post that Austria is very flexible compared to Germany.
Germany have a more higher standard .

i am also awarethat there are courses taught in english and so the university grants you admission based on the fact that you have written english standardised test, i.e TOEFL. IELTS. ETC. but still yet at the german embassy they want to see proof that you can communicate in german Language.
