MMM Will Soon Cripple Nigerias Economy by gr8tness(m): 10:14pm On Dec 08, 2016
From series of interaction, observation and empirical case studies, it was discovered that people are converting monies that would have been invested in business projects which is in this case refered to as investment into MMM.

People that equally get paid dont go into investment by starting up business ventures but further investing the monies into the MMM system. Now, for those who are smart enough to keep their capital and trade with the gains after being paid, they relax, waiting for the next 30 days to get their profit turning in.

But whats the effect, SMEs business growth will decline, number of goods in circulation will decline triggering an inflation, consumption will slow down as people are more interested in MMM-ing than consuming, rate of output becomes affected, unemployment at semi-skilled and unskilled level declines, and the economic recession worsenes.

See the graph as attached, when MMM driven people keep increasing from MMM1 down to MM3, the level of investment will be falling from level 3 to investment level 1 after which a negetive investment will set in.

I call on the MMM people to engage their bogus profit in setting up SMES to drive the economy, otherwise, I call on the National Assembly and the Presidency to as a matter of urgency adopt these measure;
* Block access to the MMM website to crash access from Nigeria.
* Arrest any Nigerian promoting MMM or making payment for such in Nigeria.
* Encourage or develop an investment scheme backed by law to hinge on not just making profit but showing off your investment before qualifying for future investment.

Oga those who engage in MMM do so from their spare money as directed by the scheme so please why not call on the government to invest on SME to engage the citizens of the country instead of advising those helping theirselves with these program on how to spend their money. Abeg go front jor.

We know all these things, but free money is better dan being unemployed, not just being unemployed in any period but in a recession.

Spare money advice, yes! but when it gets interesting, people mop up other funds, sell their cars and do all sort of things to rake in more investment. It is true that government needs to do more in stimulating SMEs growth but I tell you, SMEs in Nigeria have played key role in Nigerian economic growth even without government intervention. So what will happen if those SMEs are no longer growing and expanding because of free money? If the arguement is that government has not improved the economy, the citizens should not join in by shielding their investment which is fundamental to economic existence.

Africans!!! When other blacks are like coconut, brown on the outside, white on the inside, most Africans, particularly some lazy and un-innovative Nigerians, chose to be like a charcoal, black on the outside, and still black on the inside. Zero sense of reasoning, zero sense of dignity.

The point is, the scheme will surely crash, and the new entry investors will bear the brunt when it does. Those who participated and benefitted from the scheme are aids to the fraudulence, since their participation and cajoles got investors into the scheme.

MMM is simply a ponzi. There's no honour in making money in a fraudulent scheme.

I see no difference between MMM investors and those hungry fellas in Lagos that trooped to the beach to hack off chunks of meat from a dead whale washed ashore.

where the economy dey wey mmm wan cripple? The scheme is the only thing that will help the useless economy, money goes round in any functional country and thats what mmm is doing for us. If everyone should sit at home and do mmm only and nobody is selling food stuffs again, everybody will be forced to go to the bush and provide his or her food and that is the begining of good economy. Not when I suffer go bush harvest food, those who stole public money will come and buy them peanuts bc they have excess stolen useless naira. Now, with mmm, they will have the naira, and I also have it therefore, let us keep it aside, enter bush and be productive. I pray Mavrodi lives long enough to bring us out of this mess.

Actually, banks crippled the Nigerian economy.. They fail to give SMEs loans, sensible interest rate, etc. They prefer round- tripping, and heavy lending only to influential individuals.

Let MMM cripple the remainder.

... Everyone should go and create their own economy.
