This is to help everyone who wants to apply for the ongoing 300,000 housing units of the Federal government social sustainable housing scheme under the National Social Housing Programme (NHSP).

This program will allow you to own a home, as an individual or part of a cooperative with as low as #200,000,000 only with a monthly repayment of as low as #10,000/mo.

#2 Next provide personal details including phone numbers(items asterisked* in red are compulsory)

#3 Provide all valid email and phone numbers to allow them notify you if your selection process went fine.

#4 You may need to specify a different location where you want your home to be built or retain the same state where you presently reside.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

#1 Who can apply for this program: it is open to all citizens of Nigeria be it individual, cooperative or partnership.

#2 What if I don't have my email address or phone number? well email can be overlooked but phone contact is a valid means of contacting beneficiaries. That is why Federal government insists people link their National identity Number with their phone numbers.

#3 How much does the house cost? The lowest is a 2 rooms ( 1 bedroom) which goes for around #2,000,000 basic. While 3 rooms (2 bedrooms) is around #2,700,000. There is also 3 rooms as well.

#4 How much will I be refunding? Provided you ain't selecting extra additions to your building finishing, you should be paying #10,000 per month.

#5 What other charges aside the #2.000.000? if you select options that allows your home have it's painting, tiles, solar power, lighting, toilet ensures, all these comes as extras which will be added as part of your repayment. All this shall be communicated when you are successfully selected.

Well, as to the info I got, there are some housing construction projects recently to meet up with the 300,000 units. Though they are also converting some properties seized by EFCC and some other law enforcement in addition.

Let's hope they deliver soon but it will come before he lives office.

Yeah, because the more you add more finishing like painting, tiling, and toilet ensures, you will pay more.

Basic for 2 rooms which is a payour and one bedroom is #2M which on a monthly repayment is #10k for 2 years. But if you add more options cost will increase.

Also consider applying in less competitive areas like if you reside in Abuja, you may consider applying for housing in Nassarawa if you plan to relocate. Just thinking highly sensed areas will get more competitive.

Reply won't be that immediate, they will be keeping the portal open for awhile to allow more application then screening process follows.
