am a surveyor don't stress yourself too much just divide the area with4046 and you get the total plot in the survey

This is simple, where are u guys getting these outrageous values from?
Using 30m by 18m as a plot size, you get 540sqm for a plot. The land is 2388.53sqm.
Which gives you 4.42plots approx 4.5plots period!

Its an area calculation thing. Plots vary in size deoending on the area u r in. An average residential plot is 18m x 30m, of which the area is gotten by multiplying 18 by 30 = 540sqm.

This plot is not a regular rectangle so u cant compute the area that simply. So u can get its area by dividing the land into two triangles which u can compute their individual areas and then add up. Divide the result u get by 540sqm. What u get becomes the numbee of plots in this land.

If u have AutoCad software in ur laptop its a lot easier cos it has a tool that can compute the area of a land no matter how irregular the shape.

I agree wt you that plot sizes varies from place to place OWING TO SCHEMES of the particular area. And plot size could vary from as low as 300sqm to as much as 2500sqm. The TDP above has a plot area which is above 2000sqm hence, using, say, a minimum plot size of 450sqm, the TDP has over 5plots...ie if the TDP is not a regular govt plot. if it is a regular govt plot then it is only but one plot and the holder will need to check the plot's history. by that I mean: what is the plot for on the cadastral map/scheme of the area. is it a residential, commercial, industrial, etc plot. this will determine if the plot cud be split in bits or not. thanks

Using a standard plot size of 36m × 18m which equals 648 m^2.

2388.944 ÷ 684 = 3.69 plots

I dunno the official measurement of Land in Ogun state... But by Rivers State standard which is 15.24m by 30.48 metres, it can be said to be 5 plots from my calculations ....for more info, contact me

Right-click on the right or left tool pallete ----> Click on ACAD ----> click on enquiry. The tool pallete for enquiries comes up from which u pick 'Area', its icon actually
