Thats wrong, the scots speak English or Scottish Gaelic.There is no more unless you are referring to Dialect.Everybody in Nigeria speaks two language your local language or English,it is then subdivided into dialect.Going also by you initial example can I ask you, what other language do you speak apart from Yoruba in Lagos?

Mr if I may ask,why i are u so worked up,and bent on causing disaffection on issues that doesn't concern you...you ain't from any of the igboid areas in the eastern region neither are u Igbo,why are u poke nosing? I know my identity and I have never for once denied that.
Most of my uncles married from either Imo or Abia. My grandparents are Imo and Abia.

lol... I'm from Ohaozara and we are proudly Igbo. Ohaozara people could possibly have ancestral link with Anioma people of Delta and Etche people of Rivers. We share common town names and other cultural affairs with these people. We have never for once denied being Igbos.

I can't answer the yoruba question but I can for the Rivers . Now there is such word as evolution . You have to come from somewhere . ..I never said they should forget thier roots . The fact they speak same share same does not make them Living in Igbo land rather the language back then was a means of communication btw them amd thier folks and also they must have a new language and new means of communication for them to duel with thier new neighbours . This would be the reason there was a twist in the language and dialects came I to it.but the original names of things and family never changed rather the evryday talk did.
PS I'm quoting what I was told by one of them oldies prof in chobba .
