Atiku2019:
A total of N565billion stolen funds have been recovered by the government and included in the 2017 budget.
This is revealed in a revised Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) submitted to the National Assembly last week.

Dear President,

We All want a financial breakdown of how N565billion stolen funds was recovered. Names of each corrupt individual and how much they stole/ returned. So that whenever these corrupt individuals want to contest for any political position in this country we'll Refuse/Stand against their political ambitions.

Thank You.

After 2 years in office ? You should cover your head in shame .why not resigned then since the mess is bigger than your ability .please resign and let get someone to do the job . Simple .
Your case is like a man of 30 years blaming his father for being poor or not sending him to university( college ) .

Nothing new here abeg stop praising this rudderless govt. By December 2017 people will still be asking what happened to the budget cos it won't achieve anything more than what we are seeing. 7.28trn is actually a reduction on 6.07trn of 2016 in dollar term. 2016 was 30bn$ while 2017 is 24bn$. Yet we hope for miracles.
Why won't people ask? When have they stopped asking? When will they ever stop? Even when sometimes it stares them in their faces.

Did we say Jonathan did anything during his regime? No, and we voted him out, only to come back and start asking for his return to the Aso Rock.

When are we goin to be satisfied as a nation, NEVER, because we are Oliver Twist, always asking for more.

We need an orientation shift for the better. If we by actions of the past not believe in the present or the future, then when are we going to grow?

When they say change begins with you, it doesn't really need to be a party slogan, it's just the actual and real truth.

Let's change the way we think and asses things and stop being myopic in our reasoning.

A nation cannot change if it continues to dwell in the past, especially with negative thoughts filled in the minds of its citizens.

It'll be well and it starts from within our skull.

This is a very Strange Budget.

I mean, where in the World is looted funds still expected from another Country added to another's budget?

And what is Senator Udoma saying?what money is ready?the one still overseas?

I don't want to believe this story. It does not even sound well to me,and I am a novice about budgeting matters.
when I was in secondary sch my economics teacher defined budget as ''an estimate of income and expenditure for a set period of time''
so the looted fund still expected is part of estimated income

Yes we are on track. I didn't say things were going well but how could they be? The train was going off the rails when the driver's seat was handed over. The new gov't has done a poor job at times but they have stayed the course on their plan. We have fought BH to a standstill as a country. We have curbed corruption as a country. Now we will rejuvenate the economy as a country.

Only a crazy man can wish ill on his country and expect a positive outcome.

We are on track. It shall be well.
1)Is Nigeria more secured now than previously?
2)Which sectors did corruption reduce and what did you use in doing it?
3)What is the difference between this budget and 2016 budget?

Interesting! Going by the MTEF overview analysis, 2017 is truly & surely pregnant for good things as its framework is objective and realistic.

Why should i regret committing my future in the hands of a disciplined probable man who has a track record of probity, accountability, honesty and above all delivery.
please remind him that a commitee he set up can not account for 2.5 billion misssing from its treasury

The plan seems to be more concerned about debt recovery than economic creativity. The money in TSa could easily have yielded 300b at 40% per annum. Yet we are borrowing and borrowing. The economy won't have been this bad too if the money had been left in circulation. He really delivered recession by claiming to fight corruption.
