they would still be hit by importation of raw materials used in building the phones, esp in a country that produces nothing. why do you think most phones are built in china or other asian countries by even american companies

The difference is that we are chronic consumers, unlike Americans and the likes. They go there with their specifications for manufacture not anything goes. Govt policy for now favours local content so to an extent, local materials will still be used.

People like you would also say s7 and phantom 6+ have equally sharp display if they have the same resolution forgetting that phantom 6+ screen is bigger meaning less ppi. But now 6+ even has less resolution.

See someone talking about mega pixels, if its just numbers then Lumia 1020 suppose to be the best camera phone in the world

And phantom 6 plus 6+ camera together is not better than even galaxy s6 camera.

The lumia 1020 was the best smartphone camera during it time(2013) the cons about the 1020 is the old hardware used then, but the 1020 can still compete with the likes of iPhone 6+ s6 edge, m9 lg g5
