When one of my elder brothers got admission into the University, my family had so much money that he could not pay for the school fees...
And he was about losing the admission, before God used the scholarship scheme of Living Faith Church, Winners Chapel to see him through...
For 5 years, that church paid his schools fees... And today, he is a graduate...

When he becomes a billionaire tomorrow, and decides to buy another private jet to add to the ones they already have in that church, will you blame the church?

Around the same time, one of my sister's got a visa to travel to America, but we were also too rich to even see flight ticket...
We tried everywhere... But nothing came out... And it was also few weeks for that visa to expire...

It was Living Faith Church, Winners Chapel that gave my sister money to a get a flight ticket... And she travelled...
When she becomes a billionaire tomorrow and decides to buy another Private jet for that church, will you blame the church?

A stingy church will never see the financial move of God...

A stingy pastor will not stop seeing reasons to criticise others who are reaping God's harvest...

Before you say what you don't understand sir, please, ask questions....

Winners Chapel built a university with the standard they want...

And people are asking why the school fees is high...

And I am asking, Will they reduce their standard because of some poor folks ...

Hundreds of thousands of boys and girls have graduated from different universities across the nations of Africa through the scholarship scheme of winners chapel...

But we are in a time when we are seeing many smokes without Fire...

People wake up from hunger and failure every morning, creating stories to discredit men of God who God has blessed ...

Tell them, that we cannot talk about revival and remove money out of it...

The church is about to enter into the real display of Kingdom wealth...

It is through prosperity that the cities be spread abroad?

This revival of bitterness and ignorance must be quenched...

What you sow is what you reap...

When God brought youths for you to help them pay their school fees, instead, all you did was to be collecting the little salary they were being paid...

And another church helped them, and tomorrow, God used them to carry out mighty projects for those churches, you will sit in your obscured denomination and be saying what you don't understand...

When my father went to thank the pastor, he told my dad.
"Papa, you would not have needed to come all the way... Just to say thank you... It is a privilege for us to see that God has positioned us not to watch the Light to quench in families ..."

Seriously I laugh when people come out and say things about Oyedepo. People that have never for once attended Winners o. Let me not talk about the generousity of that's man's heart, I'd rather talk about the stinginess of his attackers (infact, let me ignore that sef). It just amuses me when Nigerians cry more than the bereaved. You complain so much about the tithe WE pay as if its from YOUR pocket. sebi its our money and we know why we pay, how is it your business what we do with our money? Let me just correct a popular misconception....we are not paying our tithe to Oyedepo, we are paying to Jesus our Chief Priest. Whatever the church does with is is not your business. The funny thing is I know of the auditing system in Winners so when people talk of misappropriation, I just laugh.


Just a word about the scholarship, my siblings benefited out of the scholarship scheme all through their schooling. I also have many graduates from Landmark University who benefited from the scholarship. Go to Omu Aran (His home town) today and ask how about the man's heart for giving. Talk about the free medical facilities available to the sick in all Winners Assemblies, the weekly donations to the poor etc.

The missionaries who brought western education and religion to the dark continent of africa would never have envisaged a time when Christianity will be practically indistinguishable from a capitalist business!! Ask your grand dad how much some of the British missionary schools charged people in those days to get quality education, which is still being regurgitated in most higher institutions of learning in africa today. Sometimes i wonder how rich christ would have been if he had accepted gifts from those he had helped for his own comfort. July 18, 2015 – UK Clears Bishop Oyedepo & Winners Chapel London Of £16 Million Money Laundering Allegations Raised By Investigative Journalist

Months after an investigative journalist volunteered to lie against the Living Faith Church Aka Winners Chapel International in London, the UK Charity Commission Board has concluded their investigation and has cleared the Winners Chapel London of any financial misappropriation.

Here are some findings from the investigation:

Our review of the charity’s financial information identified minor discrepancies. However, the trustees were able to explain and resolve these.

We found no evidence that £16 million or any other amount had been misappropriated.
We were satisfied the charity could demonstrate good financial controls, appropriate for a large and expanding charity. We provided the trustees with general financial advice and guidance on best practice with regards to categorising expenditure, gift aid and grant making in their accounts.
We confirmed the charity had an appropriate safeguarding policy in place which was based on the model provided Lby Churches Child Protection Advisory Service. The policy is extensive and covers all the recommendations in the commission’s guidance.
During our case we did not identify any evidence to suggest beneficiaries of the charity are at risk. The incident occurred in Nigeria and there were no incidents involving this charity.
The charity managed the reputational risk of its association with the incident in Nigeria by taking legal advice, discussing the matter at trustee meetings, responding to press queries and issuing statements as appropriate.
We identified a potential conflict of interest arising from the employment of an individual who was related to the founder. However, we were satisfied with the trustees’ decision making in respect of the employment. They demonstrated that the conflict of interest was managed and that they had appropriate policies which were applied.
Overall, its accounts were good and complied with the SORP for charity accounting; however our review of the accounts raised a number of issues to warrant further exploration including honorariums, transfers of funds, expenditure categories and gift aid. The trustees were able to provide satisfactory responses to the queries we raised on these issues.
The UK Charity Commission will want other charities to know that:

This charity had sound policies in place to help protect it against risk and had good records to show how the trustees had acted and what decisions it had made. This put the trustees in a good position to respond with confidence to serious allegations and to co-operate with our enquiries.
We expect this of all charities: charities working with vulnerable people must have appropriate safeguarding policies and procedures in place; the trustees must ensure these procedures are being followed; trustees must put in place robust internal financial controls; charity trustees should regularly review and assess the risks faced by their charity in all areas of its work and plan for the management of those risks – our guidance on risk management outlines the basic principles and strategies that can be applied to help charities manage their risks”.





Nov 28, 2014 – British Government Denies Winners Chapel London Church Fraud Allegations “We’re Not Investigating Bishop David Oyedepo’s Ministry”

The British Government, through its Charity Commission, has said it is not investigating Winners Chapel International, a church belonging to the popular pentecostal clergyman, Dr. David Oyedepo.

A spokeswoman for the commission said the CC was only considering the financial information provided by the church.

The CC is responsible for registering eligible organisations in England and Wales that are established for only charitable purposes, taking enforcement action when there is malpractice or misconduct and ensuring charities meet their legal requirements.

It also provides information on their activities each year, making appropriate information about each registered charity widely available, providing online services and guidance to help charities run as effectively as possible.

Responding to an email enquiry by our correspondent, the commission’s spokeswoman, Sarah Hitchings, said that the consideration of the church’s finances by the British Government did not qualify as conducting an investigation on the church.

Hitchings said, “We are not ‘investigating’ the charity. In the terms of our regulatory work, an ‘investigation’ is another word for ‘statutory inquiry’, the highest level of our investigatory work.
