Only extremely delusional people would actually believe mmm is coming back in january. The scheme is dead and dusted and this month window is only an artficial one for the adherents of the joke to re think their future. If you have a job, try keeping it cos 2017 will be tough with many a layoffs yet to come. Dont waste cash cos it will be scarce in 2017, ignore all this rubbish schemes and save your money no matter how little. If you dont have a job, congratulations because nigeria is in dire need of solutions providers in various fields who would become rich by solving a problem and creating value and not eroding it.
The El Chapos and Escobars of Latin America provide help to millions who grow, refine and courier their drugs, but ultimately no value is created, rather only violence, death and destruction of destinies. Mmm never created any value cos for everyone who esapes unscathed, two or more would be severely burnt.

That is completely inaccurate bros.

Avensis is not sold in US as a strategy since Toyota already sells the Camry : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Avensis

You can buy the land cruiser in America, it costs a lot: $84K http://touch.toyota.com/landcruiser/

French cars are relatively reliable and are used all over Europe. North America has not been a good market for them for a while.

God bless you. this is what I keep asking them. do you have a central account where money is kept and they will say no. I asked 1 of them, if you are asked to pay someone in January will you do that? he said I don't understand how it works. the participants are very gullible. It has crashed simple

Interesting.

The first time I heard about this MMM thing, was when some of my well to do friends from out of the blues started asking me for money from Nigeria a couple of months ago.

When more than 8 asked me for money,I now knew it was not a coincidence, and so I became curious. And I was able to get the information out from 2,who had invested Millions each that it was MMM.

The first thing I did,was look it up if it was legal in the US,since the US is the biggest market for anything in the World.

And the United States classified it as a Ponzi(419)Scheme,and it is totally outlawed by the Country.

There is a reason I go with the US classification of things,as they tend to be realistic about everything.

In the United States, there are no Landcruisers Cars,no Avensis and Peugeot products as they do not meet the United States standards for safety. But these cars are dumped in Africa.

This Country will not touch anything sub standard.

So if the MMM is banned in the US as a fraud, then it can only mean it is fraudulent.
ON POINT. The truth is that if the US government agencies were not as tough as they are and only warn citizens against such, some people will still participate in the scheme in the USA. For instance, when US issues warning against a travel destination, that doesn't stop citizens from going there but when they don't want any citizen to travel to that particular destination, they ensure that they make it almost impossible for any one to get a travel permit from within US.

A situation whereby most African governments only warns citizens without clamping down on the originators of such scheme, people are definitely going to fall victims of such ponzi schemes because of the level of poverty in the continent. It is just a fundamental problem like president Obama once said, Africa lacks strong institutions that can enforce laws.

Exactly. You know i had a lot of people preaching this MMM stuff to me. I became curious as well as i saw some of them getting a lot of stuffs. I almost parted with my hard earned money but on a second note, i thought about a chapter i read in my financial management textbook that states that some financial risks are not worth taking. I had to analyse if they face any challenges as a start up, is these any capital set aside for reimbursement? Are there a regulatory body that puts them in check just like NDIC is to financial institutions in Nigeria? No was my Answers. Also, my father's word of advice that says "Its only a greedy man that gets duped" This one alone corrected my brain immediately. I kept my money. Its better i buy more stuffs that i will used to celebrate christmas with motherless babies than to invest in MMM

As for me, even though I did not participate in MMM, I like there ideology.
MMM is practical anti Government!
Government of the each country is owned by some set of people whether you like it or not. I am not speaking jut about anything. I am revealing A Top Secret Here.
Government Policies are. practically set up to control the Masses or let me use the Proper word of Illuminati Topmost Leaders known as "The Committee Of 300": "Uselles Eaters".
But when there is one of the body of World government that is seriously favouring members of the " USELESS EASTERS" like Late Ghadaffi of Libya, they make sure is Countey is ruined!
The Ideology of World Government Body is meant to impoverished the masses or "USELESS EATERS". They never really want people to be Financially Free let alone You Generating Your Own Energy Free Of charge or running your cars on Completely Pure Water!
Government when they noticed there is too much money in circulation will now start to sell there Ponzi Scheme "Bonds" and other related ones to absorb the money back in.
The MMM Ideology whether they come back or not is to nullify this devilish mass co from instruments.
What is stopping the Government headed by decomposable humans like yourself to make everyone in Nigeria get paid directly into there banks from the Oil, Gold, etc Proceeds like Gaddafi did in Libya?

Gaddafi even make a suggestion that Africa as whom xshould forget using Dolar as benchmark of Currency Value. But instead go FORL GOLD which is plenty in Africa and plan if activated will favour all we lowly Africans Directly and indirectly.

But the head of worldly government sees Gaddafi as a traitor for he coming up with that non-antimass plan especially for African Continent which is heavily blessed with Gold.

The Mavrodi guys are preaching the same strategy that if the Government of your country is surpressing you the "useless eaters" with the policies, so far you can unite, you can break away from those policies.

Nigeria is still making lots of Money from Oil because World Government have not Put an End to Crude Oil trade by allowing FREE ENERGY GENERATORS TO BE SOLD IN THE OPEN MARKET WORLD WIDE. So what is stopping Buhari from making life better for we Masses?

The best way we Masses can kick against the Goverment is by teaming up Money to accuire Licences To Extract Mineral Recources and sharing the Profit amongst members instead of buying those deliberately controlled useless Shares. This what this Russian Guys are indirectly preaching.
Why should few people be controlling the Mineral Resources Of A Nation?
Does One Tree makes a Forest?
Start to generate your own Energy today by either making your own Free Energy Generator or Get Solid Solar Generator and See how you will feel towards the Government controlled Power Supply? This is what those mortal men in government does not want you and me to have: "Freedom From There Destructive Policies".

Partly truth you said.

But USA wall street boys are allowed in the US financial transactions in NYSE and others but they are not allowed as participants in TRADEO.

Everyone country wants to claim Holier Than Thou.

If those cars are not allowed in the USA, it maybe a propaganda from the high chief politicians in the USA.

I was looking for where the 'American media made the fun' but this a thorough investigative article, unbiased in any form and devoid of mockery of any kind.

About MMM, in as much as we anti-MMM crusaders might be throwing blames left-right-centre, we have forgotten that this is a gross failure and ineptitudeness on the part of the government for only issuing warnings and not outrightly criminalising the scheme from the get-go. This would have stopped MMM and other copy-schemes from budding at all.
It just shows that in Nigeria, anything goes. No serious regulations, no enforcement, no one questions anyone.
The name Nigeria these days, elicits laughable pity from foreigners.

As much as I agree with you to a large extent, you must understand that it takes government institutions to come up with a well coordinated programme to be able to pull such amount and affect the live of the citizens positively - that's if the fund don't get embezzled before the contract is even signed for the execution of the project/programme. The government on its own is directionless, incompetent, visionless and clueless to say the least.

Government called the scheme a fraud, conducted investigations and never criminalised it as other sane nations do but only issued warnings thereby allowing more people to join.

You must equally understand that there are no working institutions in the country at present. The only ones working are the beehives of corruption e.g. LegisLooture sorry legislature (National Assembly), Judiciary and Executive. They only sell crude oil and share among themselves as they please. No serious investment in the economy, no serious investment in the education sector, businesses are being stifled, no hope for the masses whatsoever and they're unperturbed about it.
Life is hard already but it's far more harder if you're a Nigerian without God's backing.

I thought you were making sense until you spewed thrash about the Toyota Land cruiser and Peugeot being substandard cars. This is totally wrong. for the fact that they do not target the US market doesn't make them substandard.
How many Lincoln or Buick cars do you find on the streets of any major European city? Does this make them substandard. I am not a supporter of MMM and I have my reasons for not investing in the scheme.

This is a public forum. please let us be guided and avoid passing out false or inaccurate information.

You sure do not know how the automobile industry works...anyways for your information, there are Lancruisers in the US and other toyota products, different products for different matters, Peugeot pulled out in 93 and may just make a come back next...your other points are valid though.
