Please, since I've upgraded my pc from Win 8.1 to Win 10 Home Edition my brightness adjustment is working abnormal i.e inverse function: dim button make it bright while bright button makes it dim. What can I do?

After my laptop sudenly stopped charging two days ago i had to take it to a local repair shop, the engineer there told me that the power Ic is burnt and he will have to replace it. Then he told me that it will cost 7000 naira, Pls is this price reasonable or am i about to be duped?

Well the cost of fixing laptops varies from engineer to engineer. Though there is a maximum amount which an engineer should charge to fix your laptop and this depends on the fault, every engineer names their price according to their own terms. Hence all you have to do is bargain. if you feel it is expensive, try another engineer and compare prices.

On the other hand, if you are in Lagos, you can bring it to my office at Ikeja, my charges are pocket-friendly and affordable

Reload your operating system. remember to back up your files before doing that

it will not work because they are not compatible. You can't put an Intel processor in an AMD motherboard .Only very few hybrid machines uses Intel processors combined with AMD graphics. These machines have been designed that way by the manufacturers

what happened before you observed this?

Also, when you power it on, do you see anything like " boot device not found" or a blinking cursor at the top left corner of your screen?

What Happened Before This Was That... When I Power It On, It Will Just Stop At The Windows Logo And Hang Without Booting Up Fully.. Until I Remove The Battery And Fix It Back... I Use The Laptop Mostly For Watching Movies... So, Around September When I Bought The Full Fast And Furious 1-7... After Watching For Like 2 Days... The Laptop Just Went Off And After Trying To Power It On.. It Will Just Keep Blinking Like That... And Tell Me To Tap Esc Key For Boot Menu...

To save the stress and time of trouble shooting, I suggest you do a backup of your files and reinstall windows
