The Nigerian Senate has confirmed that it rejected acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC).

The Senate tweeted its officia of senate committee on media and public affairs Aliyu Sabi during a press conference on Tuesday, December 20.

Reports had emerged earlier that the upper house of legislature did not reject Magu but the senate says that is not true.

Senate Majority Leader Ali Ndume had reportedly claimed that the red chamber did not reject Magu but the new Senate
confirmation totally negates that claim.

Set of rogues in the upper chamber. Let them do their worst. The fight against corruption must continue. Magu may have skeletons in his cupboard but are they also saints. Let's wait and see who will replace him and what the effect will have over them. They are bunch of hypocrites.
