Dear nairalanders, it all started when a friend introduced me to this sport betting of a thing. I am a sport lover (football especialy), but have always detested gambling, before I joined, I always adviced my friend to stop gambling, but what made me to join him is still what till today I feel sorry for. I am sure greed made me to start. Schooling was becoming a nightmere that my roomates even openly laughed at me of going for holidays and coming back with jst 2 measures of rice, beans and garri. many other things forced me to cross my mind to start gambling as I thought at least am knowledgable in football. I started and kept loosing, many times I had graduated from little stake to high stakes, then to borowing money chasing my looses, as much as I played, I still lost. I have read many posts here about effects of gambling, barning all gambling related posts, though I loved those ideas, I stil secretly continued hoping to suprise everyone some day. Worse of it now is that I have plunged my self in a debt

what does happen? what does gambling made to you? Online casino took all your money? Personally I had problems with money withdrawal, so I earned money with the help of casino site, but I couldn't withdraw it...

Whoever is still encouraging you to continue gambling don't like you and please do away with them including that your friend that introduce you to it. Like you've rightly said, greed is the fundamental factor; same greed that put millions into mmm quick money problem. And ordinary Nigerian want money by all means and the urge never stops no matter how much they have; that's crazy because it'll always lead to regret.....this is why I've always maintain that this has nothing to do with poverty; most people that gamble are either rich or living above average.

Here is what to do; cut all gamblers away including those friend of yours that introduce you into it.
Be bold to say No henceforth by deleting all betting sites and even block some if possible....then look for a job you can do while still in school no matter how menial it look like, gather money and pay up your debt.
Lastly but most importantly, give your life to Christ and join any Bible believing church, make good friends from there and life happily as God meant your life to be.
