Op, football betting is a life saver. You just don't know how to play the game. It's not about having football knowledge , betting is more than that. In fact, it involves a lot of technics plus luck. The fact remains that you will lose some and win some but the beauty is having more win than lose thereby making gain....in fact I know people that this betting of a thing is there business. They use it to train there kids

o.p go nd listen to keny rogers track 'the gambler ' and thank me later

Every gambler knows
That the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' what to throw away
And knowin' what to keep
'Cause every hand's a winner
And every hand's a loser
And the best that you can hope for
Is to die in your sleep"

Whoever is still encouraging you to continue gambling don't like you and please do away with them including that your friend that introduce you to it. Like you've rightly said, greed is the fundamental factor; same greed that put millions into mmm quick money problem. And ordinary Nigerian want money by all means and the urge never stops no matter how much they have; that's crazy because it'll always lead to regret.....this is why I've always maintain that this has nothing to do with poverty; most people that gamble are either rich or living above average.

Here is what to do; cut all gamblers away including those friend of yours that introduce you into it.
Be bold to say No henceforth by deleting all betting sites and even block some if possible....then look for a job you can do while still in school no matter how menial it look like, gather money and pay up your debt.
Lastly but most importantly, give your life to Christ and join any Bible believing church, make good friends from there and life happily as God meant your life to be.

Incident1:
Dear nairalanders, it all started when a friend introduced me to this sport betting of a thing. I am a sport lover (football especialy), but have always detested gambling, before I joined, I always adviced my friend to stop gambling, but what made me to join him is still what till today I feel sorry for. I am sure greed made me to start. Schooling was becoming a nightmere that my roomates even openly laughed at me of going for holidays and coming back with jst 2 measures of rice, beans and garri. many other things forced me to cross my mind to start gambling as I thought at least am knowledgable in football. I started and kept loosing, many times I had graduated from little stake to high stakes, then to borowing money chasing my looses, as much as I played, I still lost. I have read many posts here about effects of gambling, barning all gambling related posts, though I loved those ideas, I stil secretly continued hoping to suprise everyone some day. Worse of it now is that I have plunged my self in a debt
you sent me msg?

hm, I guess that you simply used the "wrong" casino sites, because there are trusted casino sites that have no problems with money withdrawal, and at such sites you can even make some money, if you will be attentive. Personally, I use this a casino site where I prefer playing blackjack online, and you know, I observed a card drop sequence so I always know when I have to stop playing or when to continue it. As a result, last year I was able to earn 3900$ due to this sequence smiley

I agree with the post above.
Firstly, if you play, you can play in small amounts, which are not so pathetic.
Secondly, I advise you to find online casino reviews (https://play.casino/casino-reviews/) in Google before the game. This will reduce the risk of getting to cheaters and bandits in advance.
Thirdly, it’s better not to play at all smiley Find a new hobby. Catching Pokemon for example smiley

Honestly say, I am pretty sure that the biggest problem is that nowadays there are a huge amount of scummers online casinos, that is why you may have not the best gaming experience, as for me I play just twice a week at free casino games and feel ok about it. The most important thing is just to control yourself and do not make the game the most important part of your life.

This is the surest decision. Gambling and bets must be played wisely and not waged on "you're lucky". You should never bet more than the amount that you are sorry to lose. Personally, at rates, I like https://nettcasinorsk.com/bethard/. Everything is intuitive to me there. Most importantly, good coefficients, support for convenient payment systems.
In general, you should always look after yourself and not become addicted.
