I wish I had take my time to check very well. His number is there 09090105462. number 8 on the list.

I asked for his moniker and he said idlemann. My sixth sense was telling me but i did not listen I was so eager to make first sale. true caller shows a female name for the number and he said he is Male.

I transferred first then he said he wanted to confirm. he still confirming up till now since yesterday nite. he will continue to confirm till eternity it seems. the number is not going anymore.

I saw some warnings regarding his moniker after I searched his name! Since you have his phone number you can trace him through his service provider since it must be a registered line! Whether glo, mtn, etisalat or airtel!

Do you also have his bank details? By the way his what's app is still active as of 5 minutes ago!

woow....so sorry about that. The thing is you don't need to have apersonal relatioship with them to have them act as escrow for you. You just need to contact them and politely ask if they could serve as escrow for you. Nairaland is no man's land so just about anything can happen, hence the disclaimers and the public urging to do due diligence. Once again, sorry about your loss...its horrible losing money in this current economic period. Hope you bounce back stronger.

Just do a simple check when dealing. A simple check...why do you guys just give in easily into these thieves? Why?

Just in one day, I've had two experiences, one contacted me and another scammed another.

Only if Tabbaz tells us the number of attempts and victims he experiences everyday...

You have the goods, you decide the terms. If they do not like the term, you can choose escrow. Use escrow. Or spare sometime and resources to contact a few trusted guys before dealing....

One thing about most of these scammers is they try to rush you to do things. Psychologically, when you rush things, you bypass the urge to make an informed decision. That's why you can see the word "Now" from his convo, lol.

It's just like consumers having buyers remorse after buying. And that's because they buy on impulse.
