I must express my admiration for this concept "Do It Yourself". A couple of years ago, I posted here on Nairaland concerted efforts I was making to hurriedly complete my 3 bedroom bungalow so I can finally be free from my cantankerous landlady. Today, the building is as good as ready to move; though tiling work and wiring are ongoing as I write. I am particularly encouraged by the likes of Hajj, Rotech and lot more people I can't recall their names. May the good Lord continue to use to you encourage many more people to aspire to owning their own "homes". Thank you

I have almost finished the wood work its at %90 and guess what, all boards ie 1x12 are used ones so I got them @N600 delivered to site, I got total of 450, just imagine the savings made there, as against N1100. so we are powering fru like now.

Going very good. Big savings too. Don't forget to use the black plastic spread under the iron on top of the wood...
Luckily, on one of my latest project, I was able to rent woods and bamboo... magic work of my builder, Aventures; one of the nicest guy around here. Good thing the guy knows I am the King of Kobo-kobo projects.

I yeh definitely . That's goes without saying . The water proof was used by the person who sold them to me hence they are still neat . I bought some used bamboo and mixed it with new ones ratio of 2:1.

Bought mine at 1150 to site, 550 pieces. I looked for used wood tire, people that has said i should bring 800-900. I beg for 600 dem no gree I just went for new ones as i will reuse them for lintel, pillars, fencing even create a small poultry out of the woods.
People were just too greedy at Ibeju thinking without thier used wood, person no go deck.
The used woods are not as goods as erico2k2 own.

Me sef look for used wood tire no B small thign,My carpenter was working somewhere else so he told the owner that i was ready to buy his wood, that was how i got about 200 in the first instance, then bought bits after then,I bought only 150 new ones added to the used ones I got.DOllar sef affect wood
