No fewer than 13 suspected members of a secret cult, have been apprehended by the Nigeria Police Force for allegedly terrorizing residents of Osogbo, Osun State.

The suspects were caught with cutlasses, two wraps of Indian hemp, 1 UTC axe wrapped with red cloth.

According to Amiloaded Correspondent, the arrested men confessed that they were members of cult groups, with each of them giving different reasons for joining the group.

The arrested suspects are, Rasaq Mutiu aged 31yrs a.k.a Small Mutiu, Adesina Akinwale 40yrs a.k.a Olowo Ake, Adekunle Badmus 21 yrs, Kehinde Adesina 23yrs, Aderemi Adepoju 25yrs, Wale Makinde 27yrs, Babatunde Ogunlana a.k.a Enuose 31yrs, Famuyiwa Samson 28yrs, Chigozie Ugochukwu 22yrs, Omodele Oladele a.k.a Eleniyan and Oginni Babatunde a.k.a Bongo, Akande Oladayo 21yrs, Ahmed Lawal 36yrs, Ibrahim Suleiman 20yrs, Stephen Aodu 49yrs.

The Osun State Commissioner of Police confirmed that the arrest of the cultists has restored security in the area even as efforts are ongoing to arrest others.
