Theres nothing that links the two disturbances... Moreover unlike kuti's own that was localized to "Ebeokwute", the 929 Aba riots spanned from bende in the North to opobo lying by the sea in the South.
Yours led to the downfall of your chief while the Aba riots led to the downfall of both the British imposed warrant chief and the British DO for that area.

1. A revolt against colonial taxation took place in Abeokuta in 1918. It is popularly known as "Adubi War".
2. Another revolt was led by Mr. Olufunmilayo Ransom Kuti (Fela's Mum) in 1946 against increase in taxation for women. In fact, the intensity of the revolt led to the abdication of the then Monarch who was a puppet of the colonial masters.

If you want to brag, get your history facts straight. All tribes in Nigeria is brave in their own ways.
