A son of the late politician Bola Ige has praised him on the occasion of the 15th remembrance of his assassination.

Bola Ige was an Attorney-General and Minister of Justice when he was alive, and the masterminds of the assassination are still not known till today. Speaking at the event, Muyiwa Ige said his father died for Nigeria, a country which didn't deserve it.

He had been murdered in his house in Ibadan, Oyo, on the 23rd of December, 2001.

Don't mind the guy. Whips up such statement when it suits him. The government of Olagunsoye Oyinlola appointed him as a Commissioner for close to eight years simply because of the dad's pedigree, yet the dude could not get one single thing done.

Even when he was a massive failure as a Commissioner, the Governor left him out of respect for the late IGE.

Now, he's probably broke and he's saying those things for the current sets of leaders to remember him.
