Common sense they say is not easy to get. It's Christmas man! People have to spend, buy things. Banks haven't been working since Saturday and it will remain so until Tuesday. You are asking if the banking system is about to crash, well here is your answer- The money that's been withdrawn, is it not someone that's going to accept it as payment? Then on Wednesday all those that have bulk cash will rush to the bank to deposit to avoid stories that touch the heart. the only thing is that money have changed hands.

Sorry to say but your explanation is nonsense.
What stops the banks from replenishing the ATMs on the weekend? Christmas holidays did not suddenly happen, why do people still take this excuses.

If after explaining to you and you still believe it's nonsense then I believe yours is a list cause. Have you ever asked yourself if TJE ATM dispenser have a cash carrying capacity? Have you sat down to ask yourself how much the average ATM user withdraws from the ATM? The available money is being withdrawn to be used as raw cash and the banks can only deed the ATM at there branch with the proceeds realized from deposits in that particular branch most times. Do you know that more than 60% of the world's currency exists only in digital format? Please go and read and understand. SMH
