CHRISTMAS, BOXING DAY AND NEW YEAR
CELEBRATIONS

All Staff and Students are hereby informed that
Monday and Tuesday, December 26 & 27, 2016 and
Monday, January 2, 2017 have been declared as
Public Holiday by the Federal Government to mark
the Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year
celebrations respectively.
The University will, therefore, not be opened to
normal business on those dates.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor A. S. Gbadegesin,
wishes all happy celebrations.

Iss there any academic activity going on in the school before Nigeria and beaucracy are like.........

Schools don't close and go. Only academic activities are closed. Others like research and administrative functions continue.

Lautech is loosing it's standard as a result of the two useless governments. I pray for quick resumption.

Higher institutions like LAUTECH have non-academic staff and also a lot of research on-going, therefore even when normal lecturing gets suspended, other activities still happen. It is like ur mobile phone, you close all the apps, but you still have important background activies still running.

The system is probably automated. The person at the console just hit send button and it delivers to all registered email in the school database, students inclusive.
