I noticed an interesting feature just now. My MIUI version is "MIUI 8.1| Stable 8.1.1.0 (MHOCNDI)

I clicked on that "MIUI version" portion of "About phone" in Settings twice with the intention to "copy and paste". Guess the notifications that I got?

"You are now 4 steps away from developer"

"You are now 3 steps away from developer"

I didnt really pay much attention until I saw clearly "You are now 2 steps away...." I had to stop!

What's your take?

Actually wanted to buy Redmi 2 from them at Spar PH Mall but they had sold out already. The lady sales rep promised me they will be having it. It actually didn't come.

I had to contract temi I meet here and he advised I get the Redmi 4a instead. Finally got the two of Redmi 4a for my cousins, definitely getting the Redmi pro through him.

Bro developer is not a harmful something is just where other functions of the device hides like debug mode ,unlock oem e.t.c but be careful of what u press if u dont know the meaning bro

There is nothing new or strange about that. Every Android has a hidden option in settings called 'Developer options'. To enable it, tap the 'Build number' in the 'About Screen' seven times to reveal Developer options.

Thanks bro, I presume developer ROM is not "harmful" but I am not ready to switch just like that.

Play with the rest of the settings to see more options. Eg hit the internal memory 5 times or kernel version 5 times
