the four erosion sites being tackled by the world bank via NEWMAP in Abia state combined is not up to 3 billion naira! And I am talking of massive civil works and welfare programs going on( I know this because I am one of the contractors)...BUT an office is budgeted to be built with 6 fvcking billion naira?? I swear the fabric of this country is rotten to the core..

They are riding on the illusion that they are actually fighting corruption to justify building a new head quarters. Half of the lawyers are cronies of the EFCC chairman who are not fit to be charge and bail lawyers...he gives them cases to prosecute and pays them large sums, little wonder the zero conviction rate. Go to the EFCC website, the only cases they have successfully prosecuted are petty thefts and advanced fee fraud. The EFCC should be a unit under the NPF and given a floor in Louis Edet house.

DSS arrested Dasuki for the possesion of large unexplained weapons of war.

EFCC could not detain him for more than 24hours because there was no substantial evidence of corruption to prosecute him.

Based on the security threat of that magnitude that related to Boko haram, the country can decide to detain anyone for as long as it wishes without charges. The same thing is what the US is doing at Guantanamo bay. Though it is against various human rights chatter but the country decides what is good for it irrespective of human right.

DSS is holding him based on that while EFCC builds enough evidence to be able to prosecute him.

What do you know about recurrent and capital expenditure So construction of biulding is now under recurrent expenditure Zombie, many of those budgeted items on last years budget have been paid for without comensurate value on ground, they ended up in the pockets of politicians and party members. Try & get sense!

U dnt get it. It is more than u thought. They hv spent more than 7bn (last yr budget), they want to spend additional 6bn. Hmmm...for just anti-corruptn office. Are they buildin tower or world trade center?

look at this mumu if it appeared on the recent budget circle that means it has not been paid..what do i know about expenditures my friend for the last 6 years i worked with the people that drafted the Nigerian budget so i am talking with authority here.i work with with that past administration i see no reason to defend this one because of idiots like you
