-that the owner of such freedom uses it responsibly
-that the freedom has limits and when necessary such a freedom can be withdrawn for the protection of common public good/benefit.

Chapter 4 of the Nigerian contitution allows you freedom of movement and expression which means you can take a placard and write anything you like on it.

However, Nigeria is a country that rarely operates bynthe constitution..............

I did not say you cannot. For all intents and purposes you can even pick up arms. You can try.


E.g. The woman who drove her car angrily around the White house was shot dead by the Police.

E.g. In France if you say for instance that the Jewish Holocaust is a Fraud and you deny it, it is a crime and you will be jailed.

E.g. Charlie Hebdo that drew insulting cartoons against Islam, they were attacked and murdered.

E.g. The same Charlie Hebdo sacked a cartoonist who made fun of Jews. But the same paper supported making fun of Islam.

There are many other instances too.

To knock the kings head is not the problem, but the consequences that follow.

These people did what they wanted. It is their rights. Their freedom. But freedom after they have done it is not guaranteed.

I mean two things will happen when you do it.
