After reading several police notorious stories here(www.nairaland.com/3543504/police-brutality-how-almost-shot) I decided to share mine
I am an I. T instructor I teach auto cad revit etc so on the 27th I was on my way from work I was with my laptop I was in a hurry I decided to board a keke.... On my way we met the men of the under world... "Stop stop" they ordered us to come down oya search yourself one of them said "wetin u carry"? Oga it's my laptop I replied.." he quickly collected it from me.,oh so you be yahoo boy oya follow us to our van"i told them who was showed them my ID and all after getting that out of the way.. The keke driver came to tell me he could not longer wait for me.. He wants me to pay him so he can go. Before I could say a word the police men started insulting the guy o pushing him and all I was dumbfounded what did he do? After that one of them turned to me oya u say u no be yahoo boy where the laptop receipt I handed it to him ...oga this receipt na fake he showed his fellow trigger happy police officers they all agreed it's fake keeping it in his back pocket seriously how is it fake I said to him because I don dey vex.. People staring at me like a criminal or something.. I told him my name is registered on the laptop the same name on the ID I showed them... They didn't reply me they continued harassing other motorists after few mins they came back oya wetin be the password if na ur own you suppose know... Which I also told them... After opening it checking all my pictures and files the guys are telling me the password is not correct that I am a thief and they will shoot me if I don't go and bring the original receipt it was already 5:30 I had to call a friend who is a military guy too he said I should give them the phone... I no know wetin the guy tell them o but the whole matter became worse, he called me back and told me where we were told me he was sending someone that I shouldn't argue with them. That was how I stood helpless across the road so they don't shoot me o at about past 6 I noticed they were abt leaving I decided to try my luck this time with the one of them that looked reasonable he is a yoruba I think, he then said so u no Wan give us anything you wan use your brother oppress us abiii... I was like no o abeg make una take this 1k that was the last money on me I knelt down begging them... "There's no evidence that this laptop is ya own you think you're smart abiii" after much pleading / begging one of them said oya go across the road buy us beer with the 1k.. I was surprised beer? Anyway none of my business I ran off.. by now most stores are closed before I got beer and ran back... Children of God these guys drove off with my laptop and the receipt everything, I have checked several stations around the area no sign of them.... The names on their uniforms... Officer Nelson, officer kunle i couldn't get the rest.. Nigerians Police is not your friend avoid them.. please forgive my errors

I don't know why I get scared of police these days, I feel better to walk around in rough and rugged areas.
