And lastly, Western Europe will not menf fences with Russia, at least from what I see.
Europe and the USA are United in purpose to keep Russia at bay, and I don't see that ending soon.
Even some former Soviet countries are now NATO, and American allies (congressnen were even there last week to assure them )

If EU countries refuse to mend fences with Russia, that's fine but so long as they rely heavily on Russian resources and the Ragtag Syrian rebels are not funded by American tax payers money, this should help relieve the noose around the Russian economy. A wealthy Russia is bad news to NATO, but America will learn to live with this. Trump will not be that stupid to commit resources to destabilise any country in middle east in order to please Europe. If Europe wants access to energy resources in the middle east, they can as well go it all alone instead of dragging America along.

The FBI announcement was unprecedented and against their policy not to make any such announcement or seek court subpoenas 60 days before an Election. Though Director Comey gave his reasons for breaking with that policy and also disobeying his boss, the DOJ Minister not to do it, his reasons have many holes. I believe he must be regretting his actions by now. Because,he have built his FBI career around not been partisan and have stoop against both GOP & Democrats Administrations despite being a GOP himself and to be ending his Directorship on the back of what is largely viewed as partisan must be disheartening to him.

We should learn to see things from different perspective instead of being overly stuck to a view that is anti diplomatic and screwed in one direction to the advantage of a few. The moment Putin starts to act bossy across Europe, this will only unite the EU more. Putin, in fact Russia doesn't see America as a threat, the real threat is in Asia and stage is yet to set for a proper confrontation. Polish-Russo relationship is a off an on switch, America should learn to live with their hostilities.
Europe might be experiencing harder times of late but they know how to put Russia in check.

Putin never retaliated. As a matter of fact, russian foreign minister Lavrov only suggested to President Putin for a retaliatory expulsion of u.s diplomats but Vlad Putin in his brilliant move turned down the request.
