@ NwamaziNwaAro PID(Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) is an infection of the upper part of the female reproductive organ.

It's cause is mostly untreated or long lasting infection.

It can be cured with antibiotic treatment for both partners with abstnence during treatment to avoid re-infection.

Most hospitals will recommend HVS to know the causative organism and get the best active antibiotics during culture from which they'll give their prescription based on responsiveness to the drugs.
How long it takes to treat depends on the level of damage already done and your body's responsiveness to treatment.

For reoccuring, once infection is treated at a good time, it would not reoccur. Just be sure to maintain good hygiene and eat healthy even during treatment.

NOTE: People have conceived with PID.

Other questions:
Do you feel any pain?
Do you have painful period?
Do you have veejay itch or discharge?
How is your af? Normal or light?
What day of your cycle did you run the rest?

All these questions are due to some misdiagnosis I've come across. I believe in second opinion or even third whenever there's no symptom before the diagnosis.

No discharge.
No painful menstruation
Just pains at the site of the removed fallopian tube.
From a regular 30day cycle before the ectopic pregnancy to from 28 to 32days.
The last cycle was 32.days and we were already celebrating conception when the period came so scan was done on the 2nd day...today.

Note 3months after my ectopic surgery I have ttc on all my fertile days and nothing.
It's been 9months now.

What do you recommend?

Happy New Year to all my fruitful mama's.
Congrats to all that have gotten their bfp in December and this month. You all shall carry to term and deliver like Hebrew women.

It has been long I have been here and I have missed a lot. I pray that this year is our year of fruitfulness in Jesus name Amen.

I have been battling with sperm leakage. No matter how I raised my legs up after bd all the sperm will come out.

I also have back pains mostly when am on ovulation and when I see af which sometimes makes it difficult for me to stand up for long.

I have been also having infection for long which I have treated since 4months ago and do not have it again. But I still have waist pain and back pain.

I have done hsg twice in 2013 and 2015 which came out clear, the two tubes where open. That is why I want to do flushing this month as I see favouredi post.

Please mamas I Hope this my idea is OK.

@favouredi thanks for the information. You shall carry to term.

Pls I'm also interested in how to stop sperm leakage o.. I'm seriously battling with it. I'll raise my leg, use pillow, stand upside down but it still manages to come out...mamas pls tell us how to manage this. Thanks

Thanks sis, I've been on serrapeptase and other Meds for a while now. I don't know about guifei bao. Is it the one they insert in the Veejay for a couple of days? Please tell me more about the olive oil compress. I had HSG done in April last year and they said both tubes were blocked. I'm scared of a repeat procedure so I am contemplating the flushing option.

YUP GUIFEI BAI IS THE ONE U INSERT, HOW LONG HAVE u been on serrap, and what dosage hv u been on?.
olive oil therapy has been discussed extensively...search here and also on youtube.
it simply involves getting flannel , pouring the olive oil on the flannel/old singlet...and placing it on ur lower tommy, with a hot water bottle ontop of it, for 30 to 60mins...am and pm.

I feel u sis, it can be frustrating but sincerely I dnt think there's any orthodox way to stop it except to manage it by d methods u mentioned above. Any doctor u see wl tell u it's normal that it's jst d law of gravity cheesy jst continue propping ur bum bum wt pillows n raising ur legs; u can supplement with fertility friendly lubricant too to help d swimmers swim fast before "d law of gravity" comes n they'r disqualified frm d race lol
I agree it may seem to lower conception chances bt doesn't make it impossible.Same thing happens with us but by God's grace we conceived with it n if u ask me i'd tell u dt d day it "clicked" it Ws woman-on-top position sef grin so I'd advise u focus on any other factors necessary. I pray God grants ur hrt desire very soon. All the best

But your cycle is pretty stable now, it's within a range of plus or minus 3days. Pls be careful, I heard m2tone can mess up cycle when it's already stable.
Other mamas with experience, kindly comment and correct me if I'm wrong.

That moment towards the end of your menstrual cycle and you feel no Pre-menstrual cramp, and is thinking I might be pregnant grin. 4days till the end of this cycle. Finger crossed. A BFP will gladden my heart.

Good morning mama's.

lol my dear you're only five months, don't pressure yourself too much. Me that went to 'wait' for seven months nko? After waiting finish thinking it will enter immediately, im still waiting on the lord even as my marriage has passed one year. It's the pressure from parents, friends and even church members im not enjoying.
This cycle I'm taking letrozole oo, I go self medicate Abeg. Can't do Ruzu butters cos I can't afford to purge while I'm at work. No strength for bitterleaf wahala too. Will introduce vit b6 second half of my cycle.

Baby dust to you sweetie
tnx dear, have u done any test like tvs? me I go try that ruzu den do that olive oil massage, I don dey find d bottle I go use, still not so sure about letrozole, would try garlic drinking too and putting coconut oil in jajaina I did some during d hols , heard it helps to balance vagina pH.

Its ok for some to come out not all
So if part it comes out its not a problem only when d better part of it comes out

A lady once said sperm spills but she is preggy now even with d spillage
I think its motility dat matters

Another thing u can do about sperm spillage
This is incase it is watery:
Make akamu (pap) mix with soybean powder for dh like once daily
It helps better and thicken sperm

And added advantage my missing CM came back during d usage

I used m2tone and it didn't mess up my cycle. Instead it stopped it from fluctuating between 24 days to 28days and made it a steady 25 days cycle.

vit b6 can lengthen ones luteal phase to give enough time for implantation, encourage progesterone production and minimize PMS symptoms. I started with the minimum dosage which is 50mg, some take 100mg if they don't see results with 50mg but I would advise not to exceed 100mg cos frm what I've read, overdose can lead to nerve malfunction which is not permanent though.

@Dazzle86 and @Curvilicious thanks for the correction smiley

Have the same issue of supermarket leakage. My Dr said we should be on doggy style when hubby releases and stay like that for btw 10-15mins. At least, enough supermarket must have swam to the desired location.
