A Month After NYSC, I Got A Job As A Manager In An Exquisite Resort by Nobody: 2:39pm On Jan 06, 2017

I have always kept a positive mindset towards job hunting right from Uni days with the believe that I would never be an applicant for too long.That thought-process paid off when I received a call from the HR department of one of the biggest resorts in my state for an interview having submitted an application last November for a supervisory role, same month I completed my NYSC service year. Both written and oral interview went on smoothly and I got my letter yesterday as the newest and youngest Manager, a role superior to what I applied for. I didn't even have a non-nysc working experience. My joy knows no bound.

Never stop believing you can achieve favourable greatness even when other people are complaining of difficult times.

Dude you were lucky and God favoured you.

Sometimes we humans are quick to attribute some of our achievements to our being skilled and qualified for it or even think is because of our thought process like the OP

I saw him saying he has been keeping positive mind about job haunting since uni days like we don't know people who are more positive in thoughts but still can't get a job.

In OP 's case, it is obvious someone did an under ground work or simply the grace of God doing wonders as usual.

You are right. I didn't mean it to sound like it was by my wisdom at all, just saying it is healthy to have such mindset and spirit. That was what kept me aggressively applying to several hotels as soon as I picked my discharge cert. I only physically dropped my resume at the front desk in this particular place. May we all favourably be located in Jesus name.
